“Best Holiday = Queenstown!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2012

We stayed 4 nights in a 1 bedroom balcony apartment. It was spacious, clean, modern & had amazing views! The staff checked us in quickly & were friendly. We had everything we needed to explore this amazing town. We would definately stay here again.
About a 5 min walk into town- my mum (in her 50's) found the steep hill a bit hard.
The only small negative was the stairs leading up to your room- it was a little difficult to get our heavy bags to our room :)
Can not wait to return to Queenstown! So much to see & do.
Would highly recommend- Onsen hot pools, Dart Stables Horse Ride Glenorchy, Millbrook Day Spa, Sky Gondala/Luge & Southern Discovery Cruises.

Room Tip: Balcony apartments have more privacy & better views

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 8 days. The apartment was a little 'tired' in places with chips on the cupboards and furniture and the kitchen cupboard was in need of repair. However, I think the price we paid reflected this and it was very reasonable. The proximity to town and lake was fabulous. Hiring bikes from them was cheaper than in town and the staff were so helpful, especially the Irish lady who was very friendly and knowledgable. The apartments were clean and very functional and I would recommend them to anyone wishing to stay there. I was disappointed in the first apartment given to us as it did not have the great lake views I had hoped for, but we asked to be moved and were allocated the end apartment (217) nearest the lake which was better and offered more privacy. Thanks to the staff for a lovely stay.

We enjoyed our first 2 night stay in a 1 bed apartment so much that we returned a week later.Second apartment was in the same upstairs row and had slightly better view.Located on town side of block.
Lovely walk to town by lake edge or through the park.
Great to have own laundry facilities and dishwasher.Good supermarket out of town by the airport.Had an amazing view as you left of the Remarkables.

Room Tip: We found apartment upstairs but the town side of block had a slightly better view

Comfy, clean, nicel ammeneties, helpful reception. Only weird thing was the tv position in the room, off centre when watching from bed! An easy 5-8 minute walk to town, about 10 to come back with the slight hill. The scenice way into the wharf around the gardens was a beautiful 30min stroll. Would stay here again if in queenstown for a few days.

My wife and son stayed at the Garden Court Apartments and found it a great base and good value for a Queenstown stay. Its about 5-10 min walk from the main shopping area (although a steep hill), but close enough to town without the noise.

Upon booking (and followed up on check in) we asked for a room with as few neighbours as possible (my son was teething) and this request was fulfilled with courtesy and genuine consideration. Unfortunately my son was a bit cranky due to the teething, and the staff showed concern and did what they could to allocate us the best possible room. The room was perfect for what we were after and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed.

Definately would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing either the rear of the property (views from the top floor only) or facing Adel...

Stayed with my wife for a week, and loved it. Plenty of space to spread out (1 Bedroom Apartment). The layout was great with all the amenities in the room (washer / Dryer). The staff were lovely always helpful and importantly cheerful. Loved the idea of having bikes for use especially with the great tracks at your door, and more importantly the spa when you got back. Nice and close to town whilst still feeling secluded. Only point lower Garages can be hard to get into if your car has a poor lock.

My husband and two teenage children spent Easter here. The rooms are nice and spacious and having a laundry is very handy. It's only a 5 minute walk down the hill into town. We love the heated tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen - you are certainly never cold staying here! Again - the cleaning is fairly average and I was a bit annoyed that we couldn't get a 1 hour extension on our checkout considering that our rooms wasn't serviced every day until well into the afternoon. However, overall a great place to stay - especially for families.

Room Tip: The rooms with a lake view are the best
