“Amazing stay at Sofitel”
Reviewed 28 June 2014 via mobile

We spent a week at the Sofitel. It wasn't long enough. Beautifully appointed rooms. Best location. Lovely staff who will help with anything you need, they really go above and beyond. And the Left Bank cafe is a real bonus. We would definitely stay here again. And by the way, they have brand new mattresses that went in the day we left. Bummer on timing for us, but good for next time.

I cannot say enough about the fantastic service, food, wine, accommodation and facilities at the Sofitel. From the minute we were welcomed, we felt like family. The breakfast in a word. Amazing. The service was effortless and nothing was too hard. A pleasure to stay at this hotel. This was our first experience at a Sofitel and it certainly won't be our last. Thankyou for a brilliant holiday.

Our second stay here and again we couldn't find fault with anything, everybody makes you feel like a VIP guest, very welcoming and comfortable. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to anywhere in town, the rooms are luxurious and comfy, the bar is private and cosy, the cafe has a delicious and tasty menu for breakfast or lunch, will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Mmm, breakfast. We made the mistake of having breakfast in the cafe downstairs on the last day of our stay, which meant we only got to enjoy it once. A french style cafe, the breakfast is amazing. Go there on your first morning, and you'll go there every other morning too.

The rooms are fairly standard amongst nice hotels, although a couple of things did stand out. Your own coffee maker for real coffee in the morning, and a TV in the bathroom. Perfect to watch something while soaking in the bath.
Location is fantastic. 2 minutes out the front door and you are in town. A huge choice of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
Great hotel option for that romantic weekend away
