Love love loved our stay here. We loved it so much we cut short our stay in te anau and came back to the glebe. Amy's customer service was wonderful, all of the front desk staff were exceptional. We were upgraded both times!! Really excellent value for money, literally a hop skip and a jump to Queenstown centre and if you do rent a car there's free car parking there as well. Will definitely be staying here next time we come back.

My family and I stayed for 4 nights total at The Glebe. Location was perfect! A very short walk to the Connectabus bus stop, as well as, the Intercity bus stop. So if you using the buses often, look no further. It is also very close to the Queenstown Mall for shopping and dining. A supermarket is also a short 5 minute walk from the property.

That being said, Beetham Street is uphill. The uphill portion is short though, maybe around 100 meters? This will only be an issue if you have serious mobility problems.

We stayed 2 nights in a roadside apartment and 2 nights in a courtyard apartment. Both were 2 bedroom units. The courtyard was slightly larger though. Both didn't have views but the roadside unit had it's own patio with a griller. I believe the courtyard apartment has access to the common BBQ griller.

The apartment itself has all the amenities you would need...kitchen, laundry, everything. Even dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent. We didn't do much cooking though except for breakfast.

A thing to consider is being an apartment unit, they do not have daily housekeeping services. I believe they service the unit every 3 days. Also, you have to take out the trash by yourself.

So if you are looking for more space, your own kitchen and/or laundry facilities, look no further than The Glebe. If you need daily housekeeping service and would rather not take out the trash yourself (since you are on vacation), then you might want to look into the various hotels Queenstown has to offer.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write us a lovely review. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay here. The location has to be the best as far as apartments are concerned.

We do daily housekeeping if required and there is a small charge. We do a full mid stay service if our guests are staying for 6 or more days.

The bbq's are great in the summer time. There is one in each of the courtyards for all to use.

Please come back again soon.

Kind regards

Anne Henley

Myself, my son and my brother, visiting from the UK, enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay at the Glebe Apartments in Queenstown. We had booked a two bedroom apartment but got upgraded to a three bedroom which gave us plenty of room and space to spread out.

We especially enjoyed the kitchen facilities. We soon got the hang of the instructions for the lift, but couldn't help wondering why we needed a code when anyone can walk in and use the steps!

We hadn't been warned that the Glebe Apartments are on quite a steep street, which might have caused us to look for somewhere on the flat, my brother has mobility difficulties, so we had to work around this. As it was the apartment more than compensated for this small inconvenience.

Overall a great stay and I would recommend the Glebe Apartments as a nice place to stay in Queenstown.

Room Tip: On quite a steep street. Not all the apartments have a view.

Just left Queenstown where we were recommended The Glebe apartments by some friends who live nearby. We were staying for 3 days and were upgraded to a penthouse apartment which was lovely and very modern, with amazing views over Queenstown, showing the lake and the mountains nearby. We had a lovely patio where we could sit outside and enjoy the views The apartments were equipped with basic essentials like milk, bread, butter, cereals etc which was great before finding the local supermarket and was serviced daily.slight hill up from the centre but ideally located for everything.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a great review. I am pleased your friends recommended us to you. It was lucky that you received an upgrade as this does not happen very often. The penthouses are very nice as are our other apartments.

You may have been on a special package as daily housekeeping is an optional extra as is breakfast supplies. We are only a couple of minutes walk to all the lovely restaurants for the many breakfast options.

That wee incline at the bottom of the street is a bit of a shock to the system as you walk on the flat and suddenly a slight incline. We are lucky to be a the base of the hill and not at the top where most of the hotels and motels are situated.

Please come back again soon.

Kind regards

Anne Henley

The most spacious unit we have stayed in, with everything we usually have at home - only the view was different. Watching paragliders from the balcony with the lake in the background was great. The lifts are fine but from the top floor to town was an easy walk - only walk back up if you are reasonably fit. Very close to the town centre but still very quiet. We didnt see the staff after the first 10 minutes because we didnt need anything.

Room Tip: Level 3 has direct access to a courtyard with BBQ, 4 was really quiet and private.

Just spent 3 days at the Glebe. Had a fantastic 2 1/2 bedroom penthouse suite (one room only could hold a twin bed). Room 601. Amazing views. Very large updated apartment. Came with all the amenities, including washer and dryer. Walking distance to everything. Grocery store is even close by. At the base of the hill, with a very small incline. Amazing staff who were so helpful. Just need to know that housekeeping is additional to the rate you paid. Only downfall is parking and the elevator. It can be a maze depending on where you are. Our room had no elevator access, so you had to get off on the 5th floor and carry your luggage up a flight. Not a huge deal.

Loads of good restaurants. Would recommend Ballarat, Hell's pizza, Movenpick Ice cream.

Spacious apartment, with breath taking views. We paid for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, with a view of the lake. Room 702 ended up having 3 bedrooms, we didn't use 1 of them. It had everything we needed plus extras. Would recommend and certainly would stay again. About 5 minute walk to town. Staff very helpful!
