Standard fare top 10 camping ground. We were in a motorhome here for 2 nights so didn't use the facilities much. Though had to wait half an hour for a shower in the morning and the camp was only reasonably busy. I'd say not enough showers if it was full. To be honest I would not enjoy having a camping/motorhome holiday in the christmas/new year period in NZ. Queueing for showers and toilets is just not my scene.

I did like being 10 miniutes from town by foot though.
Saw a danish family of 5 pull up in a motorhome and were shocked to find they would have to $100 for the night. I guess that's just the top 10 pricing.

Room Tip: The motorhome sites near reception looked very nice under the trees.

There should be no waiting for long periods for showers as we do have more than the minimum required for our size holiday park. Our various facility blocks are in different areas around the park for everyone to make use of. I am sorry if this wasn’t made clear on check in and that you had to wait. Since reading comments we have recently increased the amount of signs to point out the various blocks to make them more noticeable.

Our family of 4 stayed in one of the units for 3 nights. We had 2 bedrooms and an open living area with a kitchen. Great value for money! The bedrooms were relatively small, but fully sufficient. The living area had everything you need; couch, coffee table, dining table, TV. Clean bathroom although nothing fancy. Kitchen was well equipped. Staff was very friendly and helpful, with everything from minor requests to helping arranging a tour. Location was great, just a few minutes walk to downtown, but more quiet. It was close to a landing site for kite flyers which my girls enjoyed watching. There is a very good high end supermarket across the street. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Room Tip: I think units vary quite a bit so if possible check out the unit first. I can't remember our uni...

We are very happy to see that you enjoyed your stay. I agree the supermarket across the street is great, especially the fresh croissants and coffees on an early morning! Hopefully we’ll see you back again sometime soon!

Apart from what's written in the title I'd say it's fine. Had to wait for a shower for half an hour in the morning though - not nice. Well, it's close to town and the facilities are overall nice and tidy.

I’m glad you enjoyed the facilities as our staff work hard keep them nice and clean for our guests. As our holiday park covers a large area we have scattered numerous communal facility blocks around the grounds instead of having just the one block. We have done this so in the colder winter months if a guest needs to use facilities during the night they don’t have far to walk in the dark. If one shower is busy during the morning rush, there are plenty of others available in the other blocks just a short walk away.

We stayed here for 1 night. The whole site is quite cramped and our ensuite studio room was full of character (including an old organ). Our room was a good size and well equipped although a bit overlooked. Only a 5 minute walk into town.

We wanted to be walking distance to downtown; the other place was a vast wasteland. Creeksyde was a delight, well-shaded and very well run. Early in the morning the staff are out in their electric golf carts, cleaning (quietly). As soon as a campervan moves, they set up a small water sprinkler for the grass. VERY convenient to the big grocery store as well as downtown. And they have some fun rooms to rent if you don't have a campervan.

aussie family in large 6 berth behemoth in our 3rd week in NZ so seen a few holiday parks.Stayed at shotover last night and despite paying for 2 nights we opted to blow our money and come here.
do not stay at shotover-tiny showers, miles out of town and campervans are on a noisy road plus kitchen was dirty and smelly.
coming to creeksyde changed our whole perspective on Queenstown.

Having read some previous reviews, I was a little concerned that this would be a noisy, cramped and dirty site. How wrong those reviews were!! We were staying in a camper van, had a good sized pitch that allowed us space for camping table and chairs. The new shower block has to be seen to be believed. Showers were free. The site is very well maintained with tubs of flowers and established hedges and trees providing shade and separation. Ok, we did stay on bigger pitches elsewhere, when they were in more remote places, but Creeksyde had the biggest pitch compared to other town centre sites we visited.it was also the best of other Top 10 sites we visited. It is very well placed for reaching all the attractions in town so we did not move the van off site for the 5 nights we stayed. I would definitely return!

Room Tip: When you book, ask for a quiter spot.
