Pros: Convenient location: walking distance to Snow Centre, Fergburger and the supermarket. Clean bathrooms, kitchen, and communal lounges. Loved the sustainability measures they're taking with waste minimisation. They have little baggies folded from newspaper that you can put your food scraps in for the worm farm. Buildings are quirky and staff are friendly. We stayed in the lodge room so we didn't have to venture outside to go to the toilet, use the kitchen or sit in front of the gas fire watching tv. It was quiet so we got a good sleep.

Cons: Our room smelled damp and musty. I had to air it out the first day. The ski storage was in a different building so we had to trek across the cold damp holiday park to store our snow gear. Plus the code they gave us for storage didn't work, so we had to trek back to reception to get another code. We were only given one room key. Our room only came with one pillow per bed, of varying quality. I found a hair under my duvet. The building is dated, so all the windows are only single glazed, so they have heaps of condensation in the morning. The heater in our room could only be set on low, because if it was put on high, it would trip the multi-plug. You have to hire everything: pots, pans, board games.

Would we stay there again? Maybe, it was about $30 cheaper a night than staying in a motel. And the cooking facilities saved us a little cash.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review.

I have taken note of your comments & thank you for bringing these to our attention. I have passed the comments to our maintenance department regarding the heater and multi-plug in the unit.

Our reception would have been happy to provide you with an extra pillow and key. We are here to help and want you to enjoy your stay.

We are very lucky to have such an ideal location in Queenstown, and it’s great to hear you enjoyed our sustainability measures. We are very proud to be the world’s first environmentally certified Holiday Park!

Great place to stay, plenty of facilities for camping or motor homes and holiday units have everything you need. Easy walk into the middle of town and bus out the front direct to ski fields.
Reception can book any day trips or ski packages for you
Only think missing would be a play area for children

We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope you had a great time on the ski fields! We unfortunately haven’t got a playground on site as we are located in Queenstown center but there is a nice big one just 2 minutes located away from us.

Thank you for your feedback.

+ bus stop to coronet peak directly in front of the door
+ close to town (5 minutes stroll), supermarket across the street
+ clean, good matresses
+ cooking facilities (not tested though)
+ friendly staff

we stayed in a "cabin", a double/triple room in the main building with shared kitchen and bathroom. Campervan spaces appeared a little crowded to me though.

--- if you're looking for an individual, fancy accomodation make sure you don't stay in a holiday park. you'll get what you expect - but given the fact that queenstown accomodation can be very expensive this park is a solid choice.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a feedback.

We do have an ideal location being so close to the town centre. I hope you enjoyed the “Lodge”, it’s a great choice for those who travel on a budget and a great sociable place. We offer a variety of accommodation styles to suit all needs and budgets in a park-like setting.

We hope to see you back again.

For the price I expected the facilities to be a lot better, more modern or larger perhaps. The park is very crowded and cramped, we were lucky to not have anyone parked on either side of us but I can imagine how claustrophobic it would be in peak season. However, the location was great, a short walk to town and I guess this is what you're paying for. Most parks offer 1hr free wifi and we were disapppointed to find that this was not the case here.

We found Creeksyde to be average and crowded. Sites are packed on top of each other. Facilities are somewhat dated but clean. The park is only a short walk to town which is very nice. The facilities are typical of other Top 10 Holiday Parks.

Lovely park - pitches a bit on the small side but I guess thats the downside of being in the town centre. We found it quiet and extremely pleasant. The only negative was that the toilet/shower block near to our pitch was very small - only 1 male, 1 female and one unisex. There were others further away. The kitchen area was really first class with a lovely friendly atmosphere.

This is a unique holiday park. It is a destination in itself with quirky clever artwork and well thought out facilities. We have camped from Bay of Isalnds to Invercrgill and highly recommend this camp for its central location and very special facilities
