“Excellent small hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

This hotel is about 5 mins walk from the town centre and the waterfront, and also from the bottom of the skyline gondola. It's a small place so the service was very helpful - they had a copy of the menus from most of the town's restaurants and the manager even phoned up to make a reservation at our chosen eatery. Breakfast was good. One small niggle was that the room we were staying in (room 6) had special instructions about how to get hot water out of the shower, that they neglected to mention when we checked in! Shame, because the toiletries and robe looked very nice. Special bonus points though for the hotel letting us leave our car in their (free) carpark for an extra 24 hours whilst we travelled elsewhere.

Day 2 of our Honeymoon we stayed at Queenstown Park, Free parking was a nice touch and a warm welcome on arrival and shown to our Room. The room was decorated beautiful and there was a great touch of a large full length mirror that turned around to have a TV on the back. My only comment was the lighting system, four by the bed should be photographed and placed in the folder with which switch does what. In the middle of the night trying to turn the light on I opened the blinds, this is a simple thing to put right and would result in a perfect stay for the future. The staff were great and breakfast was enjoyable

Room Tip: Ask for written instructions on the rooms lighting

My wife and I stayed recently for a one night get away after a very stressful month. We were fortunate to get perfect weather whIch highlighted the stunning view from our room..if you can swing it get a room with a view. The 2 hotel staff we dealt with we're faultless. The room was perfect, warm and tasteful, with lovely features such as the revolving mirror. Plus they let us check out at 3.00pm the next day, as they were quiet! In all my years of travelling I've never had that luxury. Very very recommended.

Room Tip: Remarkable room

We stayed at 2 hotels in Queenstown and this one takes the cake. Everything this hotels has to offer is first class, from the complimentary canapés and drinks each night, to the quality bed linen and the beutifully decorated rooms. Well done to the owners, they have really hit the nail on the head. We'll definitely be back.

Room Tip: Stick around for drinks and canapés to sociaslise with the staff and other guests.

Queens Park Hotel is a boutique hotel who take their business seriously. If you want to be spoiled and pampered - this is the place to go. Both Karen and Eduardo (managers) looked after us wonderfully. The room was great, breakfast was wonderful and we truly recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. The time they took to understand what we wanted and then took great care to recommend places to visit and eat that suited us. We were not disappointed. They even booked restaurants for us.

Thanks Edwardo and Karen

Room Tip: We only know about rooms facing the park. The hotel does not have a fitness centre or pool.
