very busy restaurant but the food seemed to have no love to it. Turning out plates quickly but not quality. Coleslaw drowned in vinegar was not my idea of a "salad". Has a fetish with having as many different plates and dishes on meals as possible which annoyed me. Wouldn't return -sorry

We had a breakfast here, which was a good portion at a reasonable price
We went back again at night as I noticed that they did a smaller 200gm rib eye steak. This portion was quite adequate for me.
The staff were efficient and attentive

We were in a party of six. I think everyone was reasonably pleased with their meals. We were seated in a large booth and I think it was the was uncomfortable restaurant seating I've ever encountered. One of our group was on the short side and complained that her legs were going to sleep because her feet never touched the floor. The booths looked really nice but I think it was a case of style over function. Service was okay until we wanted coffee and couldn't get anyone's attention. We gave up and paid our tab.

The restaurant has a comprehensive menu serving everything from steaks to fish and chips.
The service was excellent and our waitress attended to all our needs promptly and efficiently.
I shared a crock of Green Shell Mussels then went for the 300gm rib eye steak.
Others with me had the venison steak, venison pie or fish and chips.
Whilst the food was acceptable it wasn't particularly special and after 3 weeks in NZ we had come to expect better.
