“Very Obliging”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

I turned up at about 7.00pm one evening to find the kitchen closed. The staff checked what I wanted and asked the chef if he could do it. He was only to happy to oblige and opened the kitchen to cook 2 serves of fish and chips to take away. These were served with a nice fresh salad. i would certainly recommend this place. The food was great and the staff obviously all very obliging.

“Ordinary”
Reviewed 29 December 2013 via mobile

Everything we ordered was pretty much average. The smoothie and iced coffee was watery, the ice cream came on an old and soggy cone. Service was nothing special

“Hot Drinks and Free Wi-Fi - what more could ask?”
Reviewed 21 December 2013

If your looking for a quick place to grab a bite, a drink, and surf the net for free, look no further than the Pop-In Cafe. In a town with a general lack of free Wi-Fi options, we found Pop-In a great resting place to crash for 30 minutes before dashing out again for more great Fiordland scenery.

Note this is not fine dining. It's hot drinks and nice comfort food like toasties, fish and chips etc.

“A good lunch”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

We chose toasted sandwiches with ham, cheese and pineapple. Plenty of ingredients, and well-prepared. We would eat here again

“Good Japanese influenced cafe”
Reviewed 31 October 2013

Go for the Japanese noodles (ramen / udon) - they were pretty good. The macaroni cheese was however like a microwaved pasta pack.
Not an overwhelming experience, but not a lot of options in Te Anau.
