This was our first stop on a tour around New Zealand and it started the holiday perfectly. As many have said before Janelle and Selby were great hosts, the little extras such as the muffins were a welcome treat and both were really knowlegable of the area and able to provide information and recommendations for everything. The room itself was a good size and clean and the motel was a short walk into the town centre.
We only stayed for 1 night before we headed to Queenstown but I wish we had been able to stay for more. Te Anau itself is a lovely little town with many restaurants and a beautiful lake and of course it is close to Milford and Doubtful Sounds.
Definitely would recommend Te Anau Bella Vista!
