Pretty much standard cost for campervan parks in major destinations, and we actually thought the facilities were pretty good. It rained most of the time we were in Te Anau and in that regard the lounge area and communal kitchen were a major positive - it was nice to have a dry, sheltered spot in which to eat, relax and read up on coming things we'd do.
I thought the facilities were quite well kept, the bathrooms of good standard and the kitchens large enough to cope with guest numbers. We took a campsite up the back of the campground and it was definitely quieter away from the road and larger crowds closer to the lake.
The lake is right across the road and the Dept of Conservation office is about 3min walk from here, so it's easy to quickly head over if you're seeking updates on track/road conditions etc.
All up, I thought it was a pretty good option for staying somewhere with a tent.
