The people at the Park were so accommodating when making initial enquiries. We stayed over night in a cabin. Although quite a basic cabin, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was good value for money to. The park surrounds were tidy. It you're wanting to take a break in your travels I would recoomend this park.

After filling the tank in Albury I decided that 2,700 km in a week was enough so decided to rest for the night before an early start again for Melbourne.
Just along the road from the shell service station I saw this week maintained Cabin park and decided to try it.
I was greeted at reception with a big smile and friendly smile so decided to stay for the night. I chose a small self contained cabin.
It was clean, cheap and with everything that I needed for the night.
The heater was great, the bed fresh and clean and coffee and tea supplies were replenished and welcome.
The little cabin had a car park at the door and BBQ facilities which I did not need right opposite.
I will stop again next time I Di that drive. It is just a short 330 km drive into Melbourne refreshed after a good quiet sleep. Well worth the break and the very reasonable price was a bonus.

Room Tip: Have a rest and start early. Much more energy for Melbourne when you arrive.

We took our own camper trailer (and dog). Our site was good and able to be made private. Everything was beautifully maintained. The camp kitchen was spotless, the owners/managers were friendly, helpful and accessible and there was little noise even though the Wagga Road is quite busy. Amentities were very clean and well kept. The only small complaint was that the shower cubicles were very small. My tall long-limbed husband had a bit of trouble drying himself and two geneously proportioned ladies were heard to complain about being cramped. We will stay again.

Room Tip: Not applicable - we took our own trailer

We travelled to Albury to attend a wedding in a nearby town. The tourist park that we had originally booked, messed up our booking and the Albury All Seasons Tourist Park came to our rescue with their very last available cabin.

The owners were very friendly and hospitable. The cabin was a large two bedroom cabin, sleeping a couple in one bedroom, and four singles (two bunk beds) in the second bedroom. It was very clean. There was a workable kitchen with small, full size fridge, oven, stove and microwave. There was heating and aircon. Couches and beds were comfortable, pillows were good quality and linen was all good. Our master bedroom bed seemed like a queen bed and was complete with electric blanket. The size of the room was pokey, so we were bumping into each other a bit, but ok for a couple of nights. The second bedroom was also not that big but it was acceptable. There was also a nice deck area to sit out on at night, complete with a five piece outdoor setting. The decor was what you'd expect for a park. Not modern by any means, but clean and in good condition.

It is a pet friendly park but I didn't see or hear any pets. Barking dogs are not tolerated, apparently. The park was very quiet, even though it was completely full. We also felt very safe. It was a family establishment and we saw a lot of retired travellers, as well as a few young families like us.

The park had a nice but relatively small swimming pool. It was probably a reasonable size for a small park like this one. The kids play equipment was also clean, and well maintained. There wasn't much of it, but enough to occupy the kids for 20 minutes or so at a time. There were no laundry facilities in the cabin but there was a shared laundry nearby. We were in cabin 29. Apparently, cabins 29 and 30 are the largest in the park, each sleeping 6 max. The living area was a good size and the TV was modern. They had cable TV (free) and wireless (quite expensive).

The main downfall with the park was it's location. Lavington, just north of Albury, is not the nicest suburb. So you wouldn't choose this park for your annual family holiday. It's not adjacent to any rivers or attractions of any sort, and there's nothing 'high end' about the area at all. However, we were staying simply to attend a wedding so for us it was perfect. Quiet, clean and safe, and the hosts were lovely and helpful. We had no intention of venturing out of the park, so the facilities available in the park were all we needed for a brief, two night stopover.

If I were going back to the area again for another function, I'd be very pleased to again book cabin 29. It was clean, relatively large and the environment and service were very good. Just don't stay there if you want a nice rural setting outside the park, because it certainly isn't that.

Room Tip: Cabins 29 and 30 are the biggest. If you have a motor home, they also have powered sites. They might...
