I stayed for one night after a business trip to Canberra as I was driving back to Sydney up the coast.
The CSP was nice and Herbert and Elizabeth were excellent hosts offering me tea after my dinner. It's worth noting that they don't have any evening meal service so I had dinner in town. The hosts recommended the Catalina Country Club for dinner which was OK, but not great. It reminded me more like a working men's club in England rather than the country club connotation as used in the US. I don't know, maybe this was the best place in Bateman's Bay for a meal, but i doubt it.
Had a lovely continental breakfast on the patio and managed to some kangaroo in the wild at the same time!
The Chalet Swiss Spa is located about 10 miles out of town on a dark road, so you may want to find the place the first time before it goes dark, but overall I had a very pleasant stay.
