We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gum Paddock Country Cottage. It was just far enough out of town to be a bush hideaway, and close enough to be able to pop into Broken Hill for dinner or a quick trip to the supermarket. The cottage had all creature comforts and we liked the well-equipped kitchen. We were thrilled with the welcome gifts of fresh fruit on the table and fresh eggs in the fridge. Our dogs had fully-fenced spaces to play and stay. Our hosts made us feel very welcome whilst giving us complete privacy. We would certainly recommend this cottage!

Myself, husband and 5 year old son had a wonderful stay at Gum Paddock Cottage. It is only 5-10 min drive from Broken Hill and I would suggest staying here instead of in town. The cottage is the old Silverton Pool Hall which has been remodelled into a comfortable i bedroom cottage. It is so well appointed and we had everything we needed - including fresh eggs from the resident chooks! The cottage has a comfortable bedroom and the couch folded out in the loungeroom to a double bed. This was also very comfortable and was perfect for the 3 of us. The cottage is situated adjacent to the owner's house on the property. There is beautiful desert behind the house and views toward Broken Hill town. It was exceptionally clean and I have never smelled such fresh linen. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It is so peaceful and we welcomed visits from Gus the dog and Billy the goat. A memorable holiday!

I stayed here with my husband when I visited broken hill. I enjoyed the company of Jack the dog and feeding the birds.
The place was lovely, had a nice country feel and was very clean. I liked the fact it had a washing machine and a fully functioning kitchen which meant I could make myself at home.
Thank you we really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at Gum Paddock for 4 nights.It was just lovely. Gus the dog was an added friend to visit morning and night he was gorgeous. Chuck, was there to answer any questions we had and to tend to any needs we may have had.
The area was lovely and quiet even though the highway was near by.
Would highly recommend this place for peace and serenity not too far from Town either..
The cottage has everything you could need just bring your own food...
