We stayed 2 nights in a first floor studio. It was very clean and had all we needed. It was right on the edge of the main shopping area and good places to eat are close by. Under cover off-street parking was appreciated. Internal lift helped with our luggage. The studio is a bit small and it is priced a tad high for a 5 star rating. But I would stay at Quest again (and have used Quest in another town before). So it's all good and I would recommend Quest to those wanting quality close to town, and with a kitchenette to help with own-food preparation.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the street would have some road noise. But in Dubbo, this is low level.

We stayed one night at Quest in Dubbo and did so based on TA reviews, we weren't disappointed. We got the only room left and the reception staff were very helpful as we were travelling with an infant, advising on room size suitability etc. Our room was on the top floor so it was a task getting all the luggage and cot up but there is a lift so it was manageable. The room was very clean and fitted out with modern furniture. There was plenty of space for the porta-cot and having a mini kitchenette was very useful. We slept very well without any noticeable noise from other rooms or the street below. Wifi was free, another big plus.

Location wise this hotel is central and within easy walking distance to the main street. This was convenient for shopping and restaurants. Parking is on site and free. Also a gym if you need!

We would happily stay again.

After spending a week on the road for work staying in motor inns I was over the moon when I got to Dubbo & checked into Quest! New, modern, clean, comfortable & safe!
Location was perfect just around the corner from the Main Street, with supermarkets & restaurants all in walking distance.
Stayed in a studio room which had a kitchenette and was a great size. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
Would stay here again next time I am in town for sure!

Dubbo is quite an amazing city serving a large regional population. It is home to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo, an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike. Very sadly Dubbo is also home to many parochial motels modelled on the prototype developed in the 1960s and 1970s - with guests' cars parked up against a series of architectural disasters (and your bedroom door). When Quest opened it changed this landscape with a modern four storey building, a free carpark underneath and a few contemporary architectural flourishes such as the circular apertures on part of the ground floor. Trek inside and you will not be disappointed. Large rooms with good ceiling heights and a variety of options from studios to larger multi-room suites. As a fly in fly out (FIFO) employee this is a great home away from home. Today I watched two dedicated staff orienting new guests to the hotel and the city. As always it was a delight. Led by Steve Hornby, property manager, the staff add a five star touch to this well located hotel, quiet but right in the middle of town. Great restaurants, supermarkets, a 25 metre indoor pool, clubs, liquor stores and shops are all within a short walking distance. You can even do your own laundry no matter what room choice. If you are staying in Dubbo consider the Quest or you might regret your choice!

Room Tip: The rooms are all fantastic but only some have balconies. If you want a balcony make sure you request it.
