Room was old & dated, towels were yellowish white, stains on headboard, dusty lamps, TV remote not compatible to TV, a lot of rubbish about, cigarette butts, staff standing around smoking and talking, unfriendly receptionist, and I could go on.
Very overpriced for what you get.

Room Tip: Avoid, find another motel

Excellent value for money motel. Great central location close to pubs, restaurants and shops. Our room had hydronic heating which was never switched off during our overnight stay. Outside the temperature was - 4°C yet we were nice and warm inside. Clean and well maintained, I recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget.

A very cold winters night, friend not answering the phone to arrange a bed at his place, so off again to the Goulburn Central - efficiently checked in and off to the room with fresh milk to find the nice touch - the heater was already on and the room was warm.
For the price the room was adequate, with reasonable inclusions, biscuits with the tea tray and a lovely hot shower.
Ome great advantage of the Central is it is on a side street so parking is no problem and it is handy to a number of pubs and restaurants for a meal, as well as having an onsite Italian Restaurant if you want it, although it is usually closed when I get there.
Having 24 hour check in is a bonus for the busy person, as is the fresh milk available from reception.

The stay here is average, probably not good value for money given the standards of other motels asking the same tariff. The room was noisy, the bed saggy, the parking was tight and limited. The staff we met were helpful and friendly. But there was nothing that would make you think of it again once you leave.

Really Lovely people. Close to cafes, food etc. Free milk given for tea n coffee. Nice size shower and cosy when you put on the heating but......1 big cockroach on the fridge and a small one in the bed. Also quite noisy if you are not used to living in a town.
