Casual dining experience with prices higher than I'd expect.

Food was delicious, and the hot chocolate with handmade marshmallows was divine. It's the best hot chocolate and marshmallows I've ever tasted.

Service was very good, it was busy due to Sat night and we had to wait to get the attention of the waiter for our bill.

The restaurant is quite small with many small tables, we struggled to fit our drinks and plates on the table. Maybe because we were stuck in the corner.

I'll definitely go back, next time just for dessert.

Went to Coco Monde last nigHt for dinner and must admit the experience was fantastic. The whole experience was something you don't find many places in Newcastle, great food, grat service and their cocktails to die for. Will definitely come back and can recommend this place to everyone.

We took a chance going here for dinner and the gamble did not pay off. The food was tasty, but not outstanding, with a limited dinner menu which is not surprising given it's a chocolatier. Drinks were expensive and the coffee was terrible. Desert was decent but expensive. All in all for $50+ each for a bread, mains, desert and drinks it wasn't good value. To make things worse the service was average at best and the dining room uncomfortably hot. I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend but would eat here again in a pinch.

When in Newcastle, if you want really good hot chocolate this is the place to come. Really delicious, great value, nice location on Darby St and fun to sit outside watching Newcastle go by.

Been here a few times with friends and family, nice friendly staff and good atmosphere. Their homemade marshmallows with chocolate fondue are amazing!!
