We booked our 2-night stay at Crown on Darby via a Wotif deal and were very happy with our stay. The location on Darby Street is great, with so many cafes, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep.
The studio apartment wasn’t huge, and a few extra hangers wouldn’t go amiss in the wardrobe, but the kitchenette had sufficient items for our needs and the aircon operated very quietly – always a plus.
In the bathroom, it was a little odd to have conditioner provided and not shampoo, but the walk-in shower was spacious. Our room was (as requested) at the back of the property, so was extremely quiet at night.
Others have commented on the unusual enclosed balconies, but we found that the louvre blinds did a good job of letting in light (or not, when closed).
The male (Canadian?) receptionist was very helpful and pleasant and we were off to the room within a few minutes of arriving.
We would happily stay here again.More
