I stayed at the Central Caleula Motor Lodge with my mum on a Tuesday evening in February 2014. We paid $150 for a ground floor room which could sleep four (although there were only two of us).

Our room was around the front of the building making it a little walk from the undercover parking but we didn't mind. The room was stylish, modern and clean as it was when I've stayed here before - it even smelt nice!. There were windows that could be opened for cross-ventilation, although it was hot so we used the air conditioner which worked fabulously!

The bathroom was spotlessly clean with fabulous fittings. The shower was luxurious and perfect for our needs. A great bonus is the huge mirror over the desk in the living area with perfect lighting for doing makeup in the morning.

We ordered room service deserts mid-evening and although they weren't particularly cheap, when we got them they were delicious and looked fabulous.

I have stayed at this motel a few times and will continue to do so on future trips to Orange. It is priced fabulously for the standard of accommodation and the shops are merely meters down the street. The only thing I could pick on would be that the street it's on is pretty busy and it can be difficult to get out of but I just drove down the street a bit and did a U-turn.

Room Tip: The rooms upstairs in the building at the back are much more private.

We had a nice overnight stay at this motel.
Overall, a standard motel which has a few modern touches.
We had a international room which met all the basic needs.
Rooms very clean and helpful staff. Bedrooms are smaller than shown on Internet .
We made use of the pool as the temperature hit 40 degrees. Garden area and pool needs attention but clean enough for a cool down. Breakfast was great, staff polite and helpful . We would recommend and return.

My aunty, mother and I stayed here due to unexpected circumstances. The accommodation itself, (we had a double room) was quite roomy, very clean and the bed was pretty darn comfortable.

The food in the restaurant is excellent value for money.

Majority of the staff were friendly and helpful, although some could possibly touch up on their customer service skills.

All in all, not a bad place to stay.

Room was expensive and disappointing. Very, very small TV, very dark, no cutlery or microwave in kitchen. One advantage........this motel was in easy walking distance to shops, cafes, pubs and Cook Park.

Had been looking forward to staying here as it was close to the doctors and the park. Room was small as it was mean to be an executive 2 bed room, there was paint peeling from the Newly renovated bathroom which was small, not even a hair dryer or a toilet cleaning brush apparently this is standard in all rooms Yuck!
I was very disappointed considering the price we paid next time I will be staying where we usually stay and its $30 cheaper bigger and a hell of a lot nicer, not to mention the front counter staff when I told them of the missing loo brush they just didn't seem to care. Close to town or not never staying there again.

Room Tip: New motels are normally better to stay at and can be cheaper, they might not always be in the centre...

Room 8 is actually a suite with bedroom, bathroom, living room an a kitchenette. It was decorated my guess in the 1960's and not used much at all.gaudy red carpet, tuille curtains, a mirror on the wall with etched palm trees. It could very well be used as a set for a movie about that era. Thoughts of Elvis and "Psycho" come to mind. So if you are a time traveller, ask for Room 8. As for the rest of the motel, not sure about the other rooms, but generally good country town motel. Walking distance to the centre of town and on the highway.easy to find
