My family visited the gardens last week. This attraction is most impressive. We also attended a short talk about the history of the garden which was very interesting and informative. Each of the garden has a themed landscape and each is totally different from the other. We loved all of the gardens, including the Storybook Garden (even if we were no longer kids). We had lunch at the "Garden Terrace Cafe". Being the only food outlet inside the gardens, I was expecting the price to be a rip-off but I was mistaken. The prices were reasonable. The food tasted great and they did not skimp on serving size.
We arrived at 9.10 am on a Tuesday and had the gardens almost to ourselves. We were able to take lots of pictures without any strangers in the background. The place got busier after 10am. Aside from your camera, don't forget to bring a wide-brimmed hat, water and sunscreen.
After the gardens, we visited the Chapel and the Village (shops) which are just a short walk from the entrance to the Gardens.
