“A Touch of Luxury in the Hunter”
Reviewed 15 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

What a lovely spot to relax away from city life. The very large bedrooms are themed and welcoming, and the king bed was fabulous.
Raylee and her mum were charming, perfect hosts.
A beautiful country style hot breakfast, accompanied by the best yougurt we have ever eaten (Raylee gave us the supplier) was a perfect way to start active days of golf and wine tasting.
Each night when we came back from dinner, we played cards and sampled some of the wines we had bought in front of a crackling log fire in the beautiful downstairs lounge.
Each morning we woke to see kangaroos playing in the front of the house and hot air ballons floating above....what a life.
This is a place that I would go back to.

“Great View of the Vineyards and Kangaroos”
Reviewed 8 August 2011 for a stay in July 2011

We stayed at the Willow Tree for three nights while we were in Hunter Valley. The room was very clean and spacious, the balcony was a nice perk. Though during the day the kids were outside loudly playing around, so that wasn't quite as relaxing to sit outside. The breakfast was decent, just cereals, toast and coffee/juice. Each night we walked down the road just before dusk and got to see a ton of kangaroos eating and even one with a Joey in her pouch. It was very easy to check in and out, they let us borrow a scale to weigh out our luggage before leaving Australia which was helpful. The location was great to drive to all the wineries and restaurants in the area. They also had helpful literature and maps to navigate the area.

“Perfect Weekend Away”
Reviewed 8 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

Willow Tree Estate was the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away in the Hunter Valley. Raylee and the team made us feel extremely welcome and great recommendations for dinner and activities in the area.
We will be back!

Reviewed 28 July 2011 for a stay in July 2011

I recently stayed in the summer house spa suite with my girlfriend and we both loved it! We did a Sunday to Tuesday stay and it was a great relaxing environment to be around. The room itself was great and the spa i didn't want to get out of! everyone staff and other guests were all very nice and breakfast was fantastic. Would stay again on another trip and would highly recommend it to all my friends. :)

“"incrediably romantic, we wouldn't stay anywhere else!"”
Reviewed 10 July 2011 for a stay in July 2011

I have stayed in quite a few places in the Hunter Valley, but none have been so romantic and picturesque. The Estate is situated on the most beautiful landscaped hills and surrounded by beautfile ponds and gardens. Watching the sunset on the mountains and numerous kangaroos bounce around from our private balcony was amazing. The room was decadent, the service warm and friendly. The Estate is also situated close to most of the popular wineries and restaurants. We will definately be staying here on many more occassions to come.

“Great place to stay and explore, would definitely go again!”
Reviewed 8 July 2011 for a stay in July 2011

We stayed for two nights in Der Rosenkavalier Room and had an excellent stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable with nice views of the Brokenback ranges. The service we received was excellent and we especially enjoyed the choice available for the continental breakfast. Information and recommendations from the owner were welcome and useful. The positioning of Willow Tree estate was very tranquil and we loved seeing kangaroos and rabbits at dusk. All in all it made for a very peaceful and enjoyable stay and we would definitely return without hesitation.
