The location was great and on a very pretty property with a lake and ducks and kangaroos. Quiet location but still very close to many wineries. The summer house spa room we stayed in was completely sepperate from the main building which made it very private. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A hot breakfast option would a great idea, just as a suggestion :)
We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival at Willow Tree Estate. Our room had everything we could possibly need & breakfast was lovely. While Willow Tree is secluded enough to completely relax, the proximity to the busier part of the vineyards was perfect. Only a short drive to experience tastings of cheese, chocolate & wines. The surrounding views are stunning. We highly recommend a stay at Willow Tree.
The team at Willow tree were amazing so friendly and helpful. We had such a peaceful and restful break.
Thanks so much. Can highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quite place to stay!!!
The view and surrounds were just great.
We stayed only for one night in the summerhouse but it was well worth it! You can drive your car right up to the studio for easy access. I recommend getting up early and having a look at all the kangaroos that come up real close, lots of them!! So blissfully quiet and so close to nature, great spot!
Wanting a special place for myself and my partner (who was turning 70) for the Queen's Birthday weekend and only wanting two nights - Friday and Saturday, I chanced upon the Willow Tree Estate and promptly booked. The gods must of been with me that day, as we arrived we could not believe our luck. After the initial sight of the expansive well kept property, we were escorted to the Summer house. Wow- o- Wow. What a wonderful place, and everything complimentary. Free, have you heard of that in tis day and age of greed. Wonderful views from the enormous windows and the bathroom sporting a most relaxing and intimate Spa. The internal fittings were comfortable ..one could feel at home. Our isolation was enhanced by quiet of our surroundings and the beauty of the scenery. Out of town but not out of the hub of Hunter Valley wineries. Trish and her daughter Raleigh run this expansive property, their hospitality was generous adding to this great experience.
We want to thank Trish and Raleigh for providing a wonderful place to escape to and to their honest hospitality. I recommend this to everyone, and we will be back.
Thank you a memory to treasure

The first thing I said when we reached Willow Tree was WOW!!! That’s what it is... WOW!!!
It’s one of those places where you look forward to come back to after a day of sightseeing.
It is located on a quite road with vineyards and Brokeback mountain ranges in the front and beautiful lake on the side, and rolling acres of land at back; and it has Kangaroos to add to the overall atmosphere of charm, beauty and peace.
If you want the feeling that you are the only one on this property book the Summerhouse Studio Spa. It’s a freestanding room slightly away from the main property. . It should be called Honeymoon room.
My husband and I had booked it for the long Easter weekend. The rates were $280/night.
The room is so spacious and pretty. It has windows all around the room and every window has a view. Everyday I used to get delayed for the sightseeing because didn’t feel like leaving the room.
The only thing which can be problem for some people is that there is no wifi in the room.
The breakfast provided was good.
Raylee gave us free wine tasting tickets for Ivanhoe winery. It is a must visit winery. She also told us where to go for the best port.
Thanks a lot Raylee. It was a lovely trip made even lovelier because of Willow Tree.
I have put pictures of the lovely room and views from that room.
The Blue Tongue Brewery and The Mill restaurant located close to Willow tree are worth a visit.
My husband and I stayed at Willow Tree Estate for 3 nights over Easter for my birthday. The Estate is close to the Blue Tongue Brewery and off the main road so you don't hear any passing traffic and you literally feel like you have the Hunter Valley to yourself.
Our room was huge and had a beautiful outlook over the property. We had our own private balcony and we sat and watched the kangaroos in the afternoon. We also got up really early in the morning to see more kangaroos! You are high up so have a lovely view and the Estate is just beautifully maintained. We had beautiful sun in our room and I loved that we could open all the windows and still felt like we had a lot of privacy.
Nice big bathroom, everything seems brand new. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast is fantastic, really good coffee. Exactly what you need and it's all help yourself so you can choose to eat quietly on your own, or you can chat with the owners (like we did) which we loved as they were so kind and you can tell they love what they do.
Now that we know about this place, we will definitely go back next time we need a break. It's so quiet and peaceful, you will feel like you have the place to yourselves.
Thanks again for your hospitality.
