“Handy for weddings at IronBark Hill Winery”

Its across the road and within staggering distance after the reception. Big plus. In terms of accommodation itself its a modest 3 star. The two night minimum on a weekend is a standard in the Valley it seems so expect that here. Personally I find that frustrating and therefore avoid visitig the area otherwise.

We booked Belford as it was the cheapest accommodation at late notice....we were worried as there was a big price difference between this and other Hunter Valley Cabins...I broke it to my fiance that there were only 5 cabins at the property when we were on Hermitage Road! We drove to the office, down a rocky road.....and were given keys for Cabin 3. The cabin was lovely! Everything had been done up, 2 big lounges, heaps of room....only downside to our accommodation was stocking up in Cessnock for a BBQ as it states all Cabins have their own BBQ, but there was not one at our cabin.....They were in the process of putting new ones in, but would have appreciated being told this prior to check in (or atleast when we did check in, but nothing was said). Our cabin was basically opposite the pool....We didn't go in but my son did....it was basic but lovely. The games room was simple and a bit run down...pool table had tears in it, table tennis rackets were falling apart...but with a bit of TLC it would be awesome and the state of that didn't dampen our stay.

With only 5 cabins on the property, it is nice and quiet and you do really feel like you are way out in the bush.....

We enjoyed our stay, our son did not want to leave.....We will visit again. :)

Nestled in the tranquil surrounds of our native bushland, the Belford Cabins was a great stopover on our long road trip to the coast. While the cabin we had was a bit dated, it was extremely spacious with 2 queen bedrooms and additional trundle and sofa bed. Ideal for a large group. Located close to the many wineries in the Hunter the Bedford Cabins are great value for money. Especially mid week.

The price gets very steep on weekends but if you can manage to get that vacation midweek the value is amazing. Great quiet cabins in the middle of the Hunter Valley wine region. Perfect for couples to get away from the noisy city to the serene australian bush. Spotted few kangaroos in the early morning. The cabin interior is a bit oldish but fine for me. Old style wood-burning barbecue which is better then gas in my opinion.

This was a great place to stay when you have events near by, appears to be part way through a renovation process. Most cabins great but some very dated.

The army base must be really close, was woken by gunfire lasting over an hour at 8 am. The owners are great and didn't complain about our large amounts of noise and constant rowdy behaviours :)

Not a place for romantic getaways, But if you have a large group it's a great Place, cabin 5 is by far the best.
