We went to the Hunter Valley to attend a wedding. There happened to be a concert on at another vineyard on the same weekend, and so accommodation was tough to find. The Sebel Kirkland Park was a little more than we wanted to pay, but, in hindsight, it was well worth it. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and absolutely gorgeous. The views over the hills and the grapevines have to be seen to be believed. But the standout was the service - exceptional. Every staff member greeted us and went out of their way to help. We were loaded up with advice and maps and ended up seeing and doing much more than we expected to during our brief visit. We had dinner in their restaurant on the night we arrived, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of it all. (Not cheap, but again, worth it!) A beautiful hotel, well located with great service - what more could you ask for? We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on 1st March. Was very surprised just how beautiful this hotel really is. Our room was upgraded for free which was a nice surprise and it was just amazing. The king bed was very comfortable, room was very spacious and the bathroom with extra large shower was as added bonus. The view of the mountains and green pastures from our room was so beautiful. The staff are very friendly. Asher (if I remember correctly) was so helpful and the female assistant behind the desk (sorry cant remember her name) was also very lovely. There was a wedding there the day we got there and it looked just amazing. The hotel is well suited for a wedding or just a weekend away. Overall, very clean, great value for money. Thanks so much for making our stay so worthwhile.

We had a lovely weekend stay at the Sebel. We came on a rainy weekend which didn't dampen our time at all. We absolutely loved the premises and the staff were fantastic and accommodating. We were lucky to have buffet breakfast where we were cooked a meal to order we were very very impressed it was amazing. The pool is great too. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful relaxing setting overlooking hills and vineyards. Great well appointed rooms and got the best nights sleep ever. The indoor pool and heated spa was just pure luxury. Well located and not far from all the sites of the hunter valley.

I really wanted to give this hotel a 4 1/2 mark as it's not perfect and I rarely give a 5 however our enjoyment of the stay was a five. It's a large impressive property as you enter through the gates and progress up the drive towards the main building. All of the staff which we encountered were very friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. We booked a Heritage room which was clean comfortable and well appointed. The real star however is the idyllic views across the manicured lawn and down through the valley. We chose to make the most of our view by enjoying room service out on the balcony with some of the spoils of our days tour around the vineyards. As the balconies are open along the verandah you may find yourself in close proximity to your neighbors however being a Sunday night we were only accompanied by the view. The indoor pool at the property was nice but quite cold. Breakfast was a relaxed affair in a pretty conservatory with a large variety of options that should cater to most pallets -other than those that like to send things back because it isn't gold plated. I would definitely return to the Sebel in the future for a relaxed getaway with either friends or for a romantic escape.

Room Tip: Ensure you book a room with a view - It will make your stay.
