“Romance, relaxation and more”
Reviewed 13 March 2011

Hotel:
The hotel has beautiful grounds and is very quiet considering it is close to the main road. It is convenient many wineries and restaurants are close by. The room is clean, beds extremely comfortable, and bathroom is as relaxing as a day spa. It is very modern vintage and my only disappointment was that both bedside lamps had blown bulbs and I could not read my book in bed. 10 mins down the road is The Cellar Restaurant which does a fantastic degustation.

Service:
We only interacted with the front reception for check-in and check-out, and he was polite and efficient.

Overall:
Loved the room and would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We have booked again while we were there for CMF in march.
They could have decorated the restaurant for Valentines Day that was disappointing but the food and service were commendable.
It is close and handy to the vineyards and The hunter valley gardens overall the stay was fabulous

great location central to everything. Clean & tidy large room with comfortable bed & great a/con on a very hot weekend. Pool area a little untidy & breakfast bar very ordinary. However overall a lovely place to stay.

Well located to Hunter valley Gardens Hotel surrounds and lay out lovely and well located. Having a love of gardening I noticed too many dead plants in hotel gardens. They would be better to have empty pots than housing dead plants.
Endota Spa relaxing.
Staff friendly but general service lacks attention to detail.
On arrival the fridge wasn't working properly so no cold drinks. We fix the fridge, the seal was off and need refitting, simple stuff.
Our room had a half installed plasm and chunky empty old TV cabinet left in room.
Room service didn't make up our room on the Saturday & no answer at reception or house keeping 3-4.30pm, we gave up and got ready for our night out.
Sunday Am, pool & pool area full of leaves and dirty dishes not cleared from the day before lunches and drinks.
Staff response on check out at 10am "sorry about that thanks for letting us know" with a big smile as they charged swiped my Credit card for the $1000+ weekend. I'll try the Crown Plaza next time.

Thank you for the feedback about your recent stay with us, we are glad that overall your stay was a pleasant one. I have taken note of your two concerns about the pool area and the breakfast buffet, addressing these with the apporpirate department managers. Thank you again for your review and we look forward to welcoming you on your next stay with us.
