Stayed here for 2 nights on a work conference (I'm a lucky girl!). It was just amazing. The reception staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for me.
I asked for a 'quiet' room (701) and it was great. It was tastefully decorated and spacious: log fire, spa, dining area, al fresco area, king size bed, loads of towels, pillows, 2 bathrobes and slippers and plenty of comfy lounges.
Had dinner in the Steakhouse on the first night with 2 colleagues and started off with the scallops which were just bordering on warm however the Fillet Mignon was cooked to perfection.
The conference room was great with plenty of large windows overlooking the fountain and garden area where the chef was cooking a pig on the spit in preparation for our evening meal.
Near the reception are club lounge areas close to the bar and another area with a small pool table and a record player with plenty of records to chose from (Beatles, Sound of Music etc etc) and some musical instruments for you to really get into it ie, guitar, Tamborine, recorders etc
The following day we attended a picnic lunch in the gardens and enjoyed strolling through the shops.
A memorable way to enjoy the company of your work colleagues (in the Wine industry). Just perfect and highly recommend.

The hotel is right next to several open cellar doors and a couple of cheese shops. The hunter valley gardens are next door. Accommodation is a bit like a motel but the room we had was nice and big with its own little garden area. The spa bath was nice but the bathroom itself was a bit tired and there was rot round the bottom of shower frame. The restaurant was quite expensive (58 dollars each for 2 courses) but we found a cheap pub down the road. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Free wi fi in reception but u have to pay for it in your room (12 dollars an hour!). Very good location.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with no one above you.

We stayed in a superior room and it was very nice, especially the inground bathtub and feature wall. Courtyard was nice but lacks privacy from neighbours with children screaming which was disappointing but not hotels fault. Cleaning was a bit lacking as bedside tables dusty and previous guest ticket on the floor when arrived and toilet not cleaned on the second day. Not a deal breaker but just little things that make a difference.

Have just spent 2 nights at the resort. Absolutely loved it. Had a King Suite (706). Extremely well set up. Huge living room with lounge, 2 single chairs, dining table with 6 chairs , buffet with TV, stereo & DVD and fireplace. The bedroom was equally huge, with King size bed, lounge. There was also a private courtyard with access from either the bed room or living room, leading to a private access to the resorts pool. The suite was set off by the high, vaulted ceiling.
Everying was well maintained and in good working order.
All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff.
Highly recommend, and will stay again if in area.
