Owner description: Our wines are hand-made with meticulous care, because we truly love our craft. Our style combines four generations of local family winemaking with the learned traditions of great Rhone vignerons, epitomising the characters of small-batch, ultra-premium wines with a bit of flair thrown in for good measure. The estate on Hermitage Road, Pokolbin is a picturesque collection of purpose-built spaces including the Cellar Door Lounge, Private Tasting Room, Muse Kitchen restaurant and Manager's Quarters accommodation; drop in any day to meet the family and see what we're all about. Please note that we charge a $5 tasting fee per person (fully refundable against your first bottle of wine).

The wine tasting at Keith Tulloch was just lovely. Instead of jostling for a place at a crowded counter, you sit out on the balcony overlooking the vineyards and get each wine brought to you (and explained). It makes for a lovely experience, especially with such friendly staff (Bonnie and Guy were fantastic). Highly, highly recommended.

We visited with a family group of ten, done of whom had previously enjoyed Keith's hospitality. Loved every minute of it, great wines presented with joy and knowledge in a glorious setting.chardonnays and pinot this, plus the shirazs, were the standouts.

Living in Hunter Valley I have been to most of the wineries, however I had never happened around to visiting Keith Tullock Winery. For our wedding anniversary, my wife and I decided to tour a few different wineries, which brought us to Keith Tulloch Winery. The setting was lovely, with great views and photo back drops (Great for my wifes facebook addiction). On entering the upstairs lounge, we were greeted by Jessica, out host for the afternoon with her lively and bubbly personality. My wife and I agreed it made a nice change to some of the serious, boring hosts we have come across. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious. The 45 minute wine tasting was a nice relaxing break, with nice views of the surrounding winery.(and the vines where my favourite drop was grown). We will be back with friends.

My husband and I visited Keith Tulloch Wines with a small group of wine club members of Williamson Wines (Healdsburg, CA). The group was treated like family and privy to some very special tasting, hospitality and delicious food. It can not be overstated how much Keith and Amanda Tulloch care about not only this winery but the rich legacy of the entire Hunter Valley region. All of the wines are made with the greatest attention to detail that only the most talented of winemakers are capable of achieving with such consistency. It's not easy carrying the mantle of a fourth generation winemaking family, but Keith bears this responsibility admirably. His ancestors would be very proud.

If only all wine tastings were like this. Tasting room is beautiful with vases of fresh flowers, a balcony and views of adjacent vineyards. A sit down tasting at your own table. More than happy to pay $5 especially when all the wines are on tasting. Even better when they refund on purchase (although we had to remind them!). Staff are friendly and knowledgeable - suspect some may be members of the family which would explain their knowledge and passion. Why not have lunch at Muse Kitchen while you're there and make it a really memorable visit!
