Having read the 'write-ups' in the local magazines about this new restaurant, we were excited about trying it, despite the couple of poor reviews on Trip Advisor. We were however surprised (and somewhat apprehensive) at how quiet it was on the Friday evening after Christmas (only two other tables occupied). If this was anything to go by, it was not boding well. However, if you have a similar experience, don't be put off by this. Our expectations were exceeded, with beautifully presented dishes (all 3 courses), delicious and innovative flavours and great service. The Chocolate fondant and sorbet were simply divine! Having dined out extensively in the Hunter Valley, we were delighted that we experienced 'Boy-O-Boy' and will definitely dine there again on our next visit. A new little gem in the Hunter, conveniently located, with easy access and parking.
