What a dream place for a wedding. Set on a hill overlooking the mountains and vineyards of Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley, this resort offers the perfect setting for a wedding, getaway weekend or a stop on a tour of Australia's most beautiful spots. The Mill restaurant and the coutyard were ideally utilised for the outdoor wedding and a long table was set for the recovery lunch the next day. It was beautiful watching the changing colours and view. Restaurant meals were all excellent, particularly my omlette I ordered for breakfast after the big Saturday night. The rooms were spacious and we had an English friend staying with us so there was ample room for three people in the room. To her delight there were wild kangaroos in the paddock next door, so she was able to get photos of an Australian animal in the wild. very special. We walked in the mornings, loved the wine and cheese shops on site and had an excellent pizza from the bar on another night. We bought wine, cheese, gifts and olive oil without even leaving the property. A perfect weekend.

Room Tip: I liked our room which was in the arm to the left of reception (facing the entrance). It had french...

What a lovely title! We are so glad you all enjoyed the stay and it is a real treat to be able to see kangaroos at the back door; particularly for the city guests or internationals.

We are pleased the wedding and the weekend experience was one to remember for all the right reasons.

Thank you for your kind words...

We recently attended an outdoor wedding and reception at Tuscany Wine Estate, arrived the night before and stayed the weekend as did most guests. Very relaxing stay. Nothing was too much trouble to the staff. The location is nice and quiet, short walk to the Mill Restaurant right next door, which did a wonderful job with the catering. Motel style accomodation for the group at the Estate was excellent. We also took in lovely views over the vineyards out to the ranges. A few of the younger ones also had a hit at tennis. Would do it again. Gary and Margaret, Queensland.

Room Tip: All rooms are in a quiet location. The only choice you have to make for room location is whether you...

Room was excellent. Big very comfortable bed. One of the best I have ever slept in at a hotel. Very stylish room with great sofa and lamps. Room was twenty yards from the pool, which was used by a few guests even though hotel was full. Bathroom was also great. Lovely free quality shower gel and hand soaps. Big area by front door place suitcases and we had 4 large cases.
Highly effective air con. Breakfast was first class. Great selection and staff very efficient and friendly. Rooms cleaned to v high standard. Views are outstanding. Kangaroos frequently bound around the lawns, amazing to be sitting on patio with morning coffee watching mother and baby kangaroos!! Totally recommend. Worth every penny

We had a weekend at Tuscany Wine Estate with our chihuahua and it was a great place for us. The rooms are your standard motel style but clean and comfortable, and in a quiet location. Nice grounds for the dog to run around in and the staff at both restaurants were happy to set up a table outside for us, so we could have the dog with us during meals, so we didn't have to leave her alone in the room (or outside it). Breakfast was very tasty, but they ran out of things and didn't seem to be replacing them very promptly (plates, muffins). A bit on the expensive side for the sort of rooms, but the choices when you're staying with a pet, and don't want self-catering places, can be limited, so we'd be happy to come back.

Thank you for your post and we welcome our pet owners (and of course their furry children); we only have limited number of rooms that are pet friendly; sometimes the pet friendly aspect can scare off people who do not like animals. Rest assured the pet friendly rooms are used only for those travellers with pets and are as clean and well kept as all the others.

We are looking forward to your next venture to the Hunter Valley and being able to accommodate you and your little chihuahua.

See you back here soon.

Thank you

Stayed two nights with husband, toddler and dog. Nice room, clean, small fridge, small lounge, digital TV, plenty of room for cot (carpet on the floor-which makes it warmer for the cot), sports equipment and small sausage dog! We really appreciate that they let well mannered dogs visit too. Our room fee didn't cover a daily clean of towels, so you may want to confirm that. We had a nice courtyard with built up block wall, high enough to keep our dog in while we had breakfast. The courtyard had a lovely view of the tennis court, vineyard and surrounding, cloud covered hills. We were in room 201 which was situated on the end of a newer? block of rooms. Close to tennis court. It had undercover parking. The restaurant is only a quick walk away. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Good quality ingredients. The Mill Restaurant has a nice decor and had the fire going the previous night when we dined there. The casual pub/restaurant across the central courtyard was also good for dinner the night before. Both restaurants were child friendly with quick, great food and friendly staff. Highchairs were available at The Mill. Staff were great going above and beyond to help.

Nat, thank you for your feedback and glad we accommodated everyone’s needs including your little one and the furry one. It is great to know on the second time here you were as happy as the last.
The rooms you stayed in were the Vineyard View rooms and sometimes we get mixed feedback as these are not Tuscan in style (but we do not say they are)...so good to hear you enjoyed them; likewise the parking being conveniently at your backdoor with cover over it; particularly good when it is raining or on hot days.
Looking forward to your 3rd visit.

Thank you
