“Good food - surprisingly empty restaurant”
Reviewed 8 February 2014 via mobile

We had lunch on a Saturday here at sebel Kirkton park and were shocked to find ourselves the only diners at 1pm. Obviously this made for very quick and attentive service! We were pleased with the portion sizes however my husbands salad was dressed with a mustard based dressing that wasn't stated on the menu and as we didn't like it made the lovely looking salad quite inedible... Disappointing really as that left him with basically deep fried fish and chips which was not his plan. Still recommended though, especially on a very hot day as it was one place we could feel the air conditioning working very well.

“Great value with an Accor advantage card”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

We had dinner here during a recent stay. He had the barramundi and loved it. I had the twice cooked slow pork entree and apple strudel dessert. The pork was a touch on the dry side, but the strudel was the real thing. With our Accor advantage card we got a 50% discount which brought the cost down to AU$36!!

Service was friendly and prompt. Luckily we ordered before a table of 11 arrived, otherwise it may have been slow service.

“Getaway weekend”
Reviewed 4 January 2014

I stayed at the Sebal and ate at Infuzions Restaurant. The food was devine I had Lamb Duo, 2 Point lamb rack, slow braised pulled lamb shoulder served on baby summer vegetables with a hunter shiraz glaze.... Went down nicely with the Hunter Valley Tyrells Moore's Creek Sauvignon Blanc. I chose to sit outside overlooking the garden. The view equaled the food. Highly recommended.

“Lovely friendly service”
Reviewed 22 December 2013

We had a quick meal at Infuzion and were quite impressed with the quality of the food an service. Upon booking we told the staff that we needed to be in and out quickly as we were heading to the Hunter Valley Garden lights. The wait staff we're knowledgable and friendly. Food portions were large and the meal came with vegetables, this was not an extra (very unusual).
Good wine list. Reasonably priced.

“Great food & service but had to ask for each.”
Reviewed 16 November 2013

Classy dining atmosphere and a waitress who knew her trade well and could genuinely assist with both the menu and the wine list. We both had the macadamia crusted barramundi with our chosen sides and wine, followed by apple strudel and frangelica coffees. Enjoyed almost everything about the evening, only complaint being they should have had the sides (salads) on the table waiting on the mains, rather than us sitting there with hot mains wondering whether to start eating or wait for the sides to come out, (we eventually asked for the sides). Also we were often waiting for more water on the table or wanting more drinks both of which could have been left on the table. But the food itself was awesome and good value for money. Around $70/head for the night out all up, entree, main, wine
& coffee.
