We stayed overnight enroute to Sydney and had a thoroughly good night. There are restaurants nearby at Tempus 2 that are open every night so dining was not a problem. Staff were very helpful, and the room was neat and clean.

My partner and I came to Hunter Valley in July last year but stayed at a different place. This year we chose to stay at Pokolbin Village. We both sincerely enjoyed the stay. We are both smokers and we loved that we had our own balcony which also had an ashtray on the table. The area, our views, our room and the staff all contributed to an outstanding and relaxing stay. The receptionist also asked if she could recommend some places to eat for dinner as their restaurant was closed that night for a function, although we didnt take her up on this offer we really appreciated the thought. The room was like an apartment, i loved that the bedroom was a separate room to the loungeroom. The next time either of us visit hunter valley again (which we will!) I know I will definitely book Pokolbin Village. Great get away, great location... If only our stay was for longer!!!
Thank you :)

I came to Hunter Valley for the Winery Running Festival which began at the Hunter Valley Gardens, this place is literally around the corner from it. The Villas were average size, but clean and comfortable, the staff were accommodating and nice. My only problem was trying to get the heater to work.. which I didn't, but as I arrived just before the office closed I was unable to ask for help. There were more blankets available so I slept fine.

I would suggest to ask about the heater if deciding to stay there in the cooler months, otherwise I would be happy to recommend this place.

Rooms are basicallly cabins. The air conditioner was very hard to work out how to operate and it was and extremely cold night. Poorly insulated. This is cheaper than average accommodation and it should be because its very ordinary. Furnishings were okay. Pay extra and stay somehwere thats better quality.

Room Tip: Cypress lakes up the road was absolutely brilliant for an extra $60pp. Separate bathrooms and two be...

Snowtime in the Hunter Valley Gardens was the reason for our stay. This accommodation was close to where we were going and other things on offer in the Hunter Valley. Loved the shops so close by as well.

Room Tip: rooms with verandah facing north are best in the winter as lovely to sit outside in the mornings
