Sunday Morning brunch turned into a disappointing experience.
My boyfriend specifically wanted French toast for breakfast so we checked the website and was pleased to see this was available only to realise this wasn’t on the menu when we arrived. Without making a fuss we ordered the big breakfast and smoked salmon eggs Benedict with 2 smoothies. The smoothies tasted like milk and syrup, fairly certain they were not made with real fruit and to top it off cost $7 and were in plastic containers. We had hoped our meals would at least satisfy our disappointment only to find the baby spinach under the hard sourdough bread without any butter. With a very thin hollandaise sauce which was sparing with luke warm overcooked poached egg on both meals. The waitresses were friendly and the location was perfect however the food quality was not worth experiencing again. As I work in hospitality I felt obligated to share this negative feedback with the supervisor In the hope that others wouldn’t have to share our disappointment again. Only to be left disappointed one last time as there was no apology or suggestion of a complimentary coffee. Well Done Bombara for losing a customer! Your kitchen needs to shape up as do your standards for the overall customer experience.
