“A rare find - Gold Coast to Brisbane”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2014

This cruise is 'bang for your buck' good! Unfortunately runs irregularly due to tidal restraints. Was well worth it to finally do it, ticked all the blocks. Superb commentary by the captain and crew. A great day's outing, well organised, great lunch spread and fresh cooked bbq, muffins teas, etc. Calm waterways with interesting scenery. No sea-sick problems. Crew very pleasant, informative and friendly. Comfortable coach run back down to the coast, fast and painless. Highly recommend this for a water-based perspective of the coastline up to Brisbane and fun day on the water!

“Gold Coast To Brisbane By Boat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2014

What a fabulous trip we had yesterday on the Lady Brisbane. It was an interesting way to see an area not accessible to us normally travelling through the waterways from the Gold Coast to Brisbane.
Very friendly staff who kept us well informed along the way. We were on the water for over six hours and then a luxury coach back to the Gold Coast.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea were served along with tea and coffee etc. It was nice to go on a day trip that didn't try to sell you souvenirs etc.
Highly recommend this calm water cruise for locals and tourists.

“Floating Food Court on the Brisbane River”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 January 2013

This is the e-mail I sent to the company and was told I would receive a reply soon, it has been 3weeks I'm not holding my breath for a reply......

We had a very warm welcome from the crew as we boarding the boat we then sat at a table outside on the deck that seated all of us however we were told this had been booked for another party and had to move inside, on going inside we were all appalled at the standard of the room which we were expected to sit, eat and socialise in. It was small, cramped, hot and did not have enough chairs for us all.
On complaining to the crew we were offered a free round of drinks which was fine however did not give any solution to our seating problem. We were then given two extra chairs (which alone were below food court standard) to squeeze onto another table. The tables that were in that room were tiny and could fit 4 people maximum but we were crammed around so at least two tables had to have 5 people sitting at it. We had a heavily pregnant woman in our group who was feeling very ill from how hot it was in there.
We were later told that we only had to sit in the room for dinner, not sure if this was meant to make the standard seem any better.

How the captain TOLD everyone on board repeatedly to shut up so they could hear and watch the "safety" demonstration followed by threatening to not move unless everyone paid attention, was unbelievably rude. We are professionals and do not expect nor deserve to be spoken to in such a patronising, disrespectful manner!

After dinner we moved out to the outside deck which had way too many people for anyone to be comfortable.
All in all an extremely disappointing experience-I would discourage anyone who I heard was going to book on your dinner cruises from doing so.

“A nice relaxing and slow day cruise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 September 2008

Boarding at Marina Mirage, Gold Coast on Sat 20th Sept 08, the weather was beautiful, the boat was old and the company was matured and relaxed and ready for a pleasant day on the water.
We passed out of the Marina with the great view of the Surfers Paradise skyscrapers in the background and the Lady made her way throught the 350 odd islands including South and North Stradbroke, Russell, past Moreton in the background and after a rock and roll turn into the channel past the Port of Brisbane and it's colourful cranes we settled down to take in the sights of the Brisbane River and the city skyline of Brisbane. We berthed at Hamilton Wharf where a bus was waiting to take some back to the gold coast. We had morning tea, a BBQ lunch and afternoon tea on board. There is also a bar on board where our glass of red wine cost $4.50.
The captain does do a comentary but it is hard to hear it if you sit out in the open on the top deck.
All in all it was a pleasant way to spend the day, taking in the Heritage listed Moreton Bay National Park, watching people at play and boats and houseboats along the way and spotting a few dolphins here and there. I really enjoyed this cruise.
