Nice clean and comfortable motel, BUT noise coming from next room was so loud we could not sleep. Swearing and banging of doors so loud it felt like they were in our room. Tried to call management but they did not answer. Finally went quiet about 11pm. Not acceptable when you have just driven 9 hours. Management were not very concerned when reported next morning.

The Leichardt Motor Inn is about a 20 minute walk into the part of the city where Eating Houses are situated. The room my partner and I were in was clean and well appointed. On arrival I saw that there were a few four wheel drive utes parked outside rooms. This can often mean that there may be early morning departures, they usually leave the engines running for several minutes, while they have breakfast, before they leave for work. Fortunately there was no noise problem or early departure that I noticed.
As usual I paid cash( and got a receipt ). I do not like giving my Credit/Debit Card details as a guarantee and so thy can help themselves to my account if they think I stole or damaged something. It seems this requirement occurs at the larger company owned Motels.

Room tip: The ground floor room we had was quiet. We would stay there again.

My sister booked a room for a nights stay last weekend. Reception was friendly and helpful. First in best dressed with non allocated parking. Unfortunately we met a cold spell that night we were ill prepared for, but reverse cycle AC helped that. The room itself was dated (?late 1980s) but curtains, carpet and bed linen had been updated. It was clean, and the bed comfortable. Due to the cool night we were not prepared to walk the 1km or so to the nearest pub but caught a courtesy bus to Club Glenvale where we had a nice meal. Perhaps information about dining out options would be beneficial in the compendium? The continental breakfast supplied in the cost of our room was fresh and just what we required the next morning.

My husband and I stayed at the motel as I needed to come to Toowoomba for medical reasons. I unfortunately stayed one night at the motel and the second in hospital. My nights sleep was one of the best I have ever had in a motel! Quiet, extremely comfortable bed, excellent amenities all round. My hubby stayed the 2nd night by himself and had just as good a night

We stayed there for the weekend when our son was performing recently. Could not ask for a friendlier manager. Great Breakfast, good size room, clean and very practical. Location is excellent just up from fast food and restaurants. 7 minutes drive from Empire Theatre. Quiet location.

Only reason it didn't get excellent was parking. Manager was really helpful but unfortunately the guests are not considerate and when they have two cars to a room take up all the parking spaces.
