Roomy, comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and location excellent. Parking was limited but staff were accommodating and helpful. Basic accommodation, no frills but excellent value for money. Booking was easy and hassle free. A great experience.

The rooms are clean and tidy, aircon worked great. A small amount of road noise but i was in room 12 which is by far closest to the road.
Room service breakfast was avg, forgot a few things in my order each time (milk for coffee, butter for toast ect) But the cooked food itself was ok
Dinner meals were much better then i expected, very high quailty.
Will return!

Room Tip: Get a room further away from the highway

We were booked into the Eastgate after another hotel made an error with our booking. We are glad for the mistake. This hotel was wonderful and clean, had beautiful linen and towels normally reserved for big 5 star hotels. The decor was simple and modern and very roomy and comfortable.
Unfortunately we were only there for one night and out again early. But because of the comfort of the hotel would love to return, spend a few days and enjoy the restaurant.
Thankyou!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom self contained unit in mid December 2011 overnight whilst travelling.

The unit was very clean, but we had trouble with the shower & bathroom doors sticking.

The noise from the highway, even with all the doors shut was a real issue. It was hard for all of us to fall asleep and you could feel the rumble of the trucks throughout the unit.

So although comfortable and clean, we had very little sleep which was a disappointment for us.

Room Tip: we've been told that the rooms at the very back are much quieter so it's worth asking.

Stayed here for business for one night. It is clean and spacious. Bed was very uncomfortable. I sleep on a firm mattress at home, but this felt like sleeping on cardboard. Had a hard time finding a pillow suitable for sleeing too- flat and lumpy.I did not try the food here as it was pretty expensive. Breakfast was average - i got the most expemsive item on the menue and expected same quality i usually get for the same cost eating out elsewhere. It was however not the same. Towels although meant to be while looked grey-ish. Expected more for $160 a night.
Free broadband internet did not work. Cable was damaged and after checking all the setting on my computer to be correct and failing to get it going ( maybe due to the faulty cable) given up and used my smart phone.
A definate positive is that this place was very clean.

A definate negative - its location, very noisy as it overlooks the road on top of the range and the trucks going up and down kept me up although windows double glazed. So maybe not so great for light sleeper. Although stylish furniture, bed was not comfortable.

Room Tip: If you don't need self contained unit aim for the room at the very back of the motel. It is somw...

Stayed here Jan 21 for one night.
Very good customer service from the phone booking to checkin to checkout.
There are a variety of rooms to choose from and we were allocated a balcony room which was quite large for $130 per night.
There are the usual fittings: fridge, kettle, toaste, etc.
Everything was very clean.
Even thogh the windows are double glazed there is some traffic noise but this seems to stop around 9pm and start around 6am. Only a problem if you wish to sit out on the balcony for a drink ot the view.
Would stay again - there are a lot of motels in Toowoomba priced way above this one which are very old and tired and not too clean.

Room Tip: Request a balcony "up the back" and use the rear entrance for coming and going
