$60 per head six course degustation show casing Haan wines. Food was reasonable but organisation was terrible. After watching diners in the front of the restaurant get their meals we did not start until 40 minutes after the stated start time. Then we had to sit thru a sales pitch instead of letting the wines talk for themselves. During service wines trailed service, plates were removed and then replaced and then the croque-en-bouche came out with the strawberries per the menu. The only redeeming feature was they had overcatered for wine and did not want to take it home. I gather the next degustation is $180 per head; I don't think the food, service or venue can justify these $$$$'s

Never eaten at outback jack's before but heard good things, we booked a late lunch for 9, mainly steaks and ribs were ordered, the setting was nice, the company was good and the steaks were cooked as requested and very nice. I noted a previous review regarding poor service and food, but I must say we had great service today (5 Oct) and had a great time.

With all due respect we were informed that there would be a twenty minute wait as it was busy and were offered four complimentary oysters that were vile. We were not told however that the twenty minute wait would be between each meal that was served. It took thirty minutes for the first entree of garlic bread to be served; which was barely warm when it got to the table.

We then proceeded to wait a further thirty minutes which we were then served two of the four main meals, by this stage we had still not been served the second entree. Both of the bush pepper calamari meals were well below standard and one of which was inedible and from the two mouthfuls that were eaten from one of the calamari meals I was then sick and had a badly upset stomach for the majority of that night. The meal was cold, slimy and disgusting and i am surprised it was served in such a state.

We then received the two remaining meals of chicken parmigiana; still no second entree of 'Jacks Cheese 'n' Chips'. When we asked the waitress for a third time she then went to fetch it. By this time we had been in the resteraunt well over an hour and a half. I have dined at this resteraunt a number of times prior to this visit and we brought friends that hadn't been here before. It was embarrassing for us to have told our friends how lovely the place was; when there was not one thing that I could even remotely class as lovely.

We were dealt with by Peter and he negotiated removing the charge for one of the entrees and charging us half price for the inedible calamari meal. The bill still came to $100.30 and I am appalled that we were even asked to pay this amount for such poor service and below standard food. In the end we paid $75 and left and even $75 is three times the amount I think the food we were served is worth.

VERY disappointing seeing members of staff drop bits of food on the floor as they served people's meals and kick the scraps to the side and not bring out replacements, I'd recommend saving your money and time and grab a meal from McDonalds around the corner as the quality will be better.

We booked for many people, over a dozen, most meals were stuffed completely, either overcooked or undercooked. Some meals completely wrong. They couldn't even get the deserts right.
The attitude of the staff is shocking.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY COMING HERE!

We had read the reviews & had been to the one in townsville & was disappointed BUT we had a fantastic night thanks to the interaction with the chef sarah & paige our waitress sarah made us feel like we were dining with long lost friends and had us laughing all night with her banter on life the break between serves was perfect and the ribs had us licking our fingers a friend had the steak & said it was cooked perfect & he knows his beef , think some people go out to eat with too high an expectation learn to relax and make the effort to make the staff feel apart of the evening this lot responed and made our last night in adelaide memorable we will definely have this place on our list next visit cant wait well done
