You can't fault Kefi's for the amount of food that they supply, it would be humanly impossible to finish what they provide.

It is very very noisy though and the tables and chairs are crammed very close together. This makes it very hard to communicate with friends as you have to yell to be heard and if you have kids they can't get in and out of the seats to get to a toilet.

The flavours were nice, but not outstanding.

Wow, we have finally made it to Kefi, after several attempts, we managed to book an outside table for Mothers Day.the menu is great. lovely waiting staff prompt and efficient. We had four hungry adults so ordered Zuccini Balls and BBQ Octopus from the Meze menu. We realized when these came out that we were perhaps going to struggle with the portions. 5 huge crumbed balls filled with vegs, and a very large serve of beautifully cooked tender octopus.
As for mains, the chicken yiros.. massive serve, pork ribs ditto, calamari lightly dusted and perfectly cooked with some prawns on a stick...and also a very large lamb skewer (ordered as the small serve! ) put these with beautifully chunky potato chips, Greek salad ....we were in another world! 4 mains were definitely too much for us.
Needless to say, 4 very large takeaway containers came home with us.
We really loved it and will definitely be back.- but...will order 1/4 of the amount next time. Amazing value, the place was filled with large groups of Greek families... says it all

Really tasty food cooked well and as everyone has commented on, very large serves. We ordered the meat platter that was suggested was for 2 people to share, thought it was pricey @$80 but it was recommended to us by the waitress. It was truly massive and was plenty for even 4 people just on its own. Had enough left overs for another meal! The zucchini balls and lamb chops were also excellent. Our party of 6 also ordered grilled octopus, mixed reviews, either loved it or it was ok, and the saganaki prawns- ok if you like that style. It was on a Sunday night and there was a 50th birthday as well. As other reviewers have commented on, packed in like sardines, very busy ,very very noisy but the waitresses were excellent- Friendly, smiling and checking on us regularly to make sure everything was ok. All in all glad we tried it, even though needed to book 5 weeks ahead!

Really good value and very large servings. Lots of large platters of lamb and beef souvlaki or seafood. Great entree or mezes such as saganaki and chicken wings as well as the typical Greek dishes. Depending on how hungry you are sharing a large meal is the best way to avoid leaving half your meal on the plate!

The food here is sensational
Authentic Greek food and portions
Very easy to over order however the staff are happy for you to take left overs home
Staff are all family (or appear to be) so the polish of the better restaurants (Zucca / Eros) isnt there, however that's part of the atmosphere which makes it special
Hard to get in so book ahead
