We stayed in the Captains Quarters for two nights the weekend of our sons wedding at Glenelg (4th Feb). We are so glad we did our research because it paid off - Seawall would have to be the best accomodation in Glenelg! Although the weather had turned unusually cool, it was just the best to have a nice hot spa, a glass of bubbly, soak up the amazing view then rug up & relax on the balcony. We loved the apartment so much that our plans to go out for dinner on the Sunday night were quickly put aside, instead we ordered takeaway from The Organic Pizza shop nearby & just kicked back listening to the waves rolling in.Thankyou so much for a great stay!

Room Tip: Captains Quarters would suit a honeymoon couple, family or 3 couples. Uninterrupted views of ocean

Spent 3 nights in a seafront studio apartment recently and wished we could have stayed longer. This is a lovely place and the location couldn't be better. The beachfront promenade is right out front and you are within minutes of some great Glenelg eateries.

A number of old buildings make up the Seawall apartments but if our room is any indication, they have been very tastefully and fittingly redecorated, while retaining some of the charm of yesteryear. In fact the external presentation, particularly when you enter through the rear carpark, belies the charming character of the place.

Our room, which had a fantastic view over the beach, was spacious, clean and beautifully presented.... and it represented good value. Can't ask for much more.

Room Tip: Pay a bit more for a sea view: It's worth it

Dear panther029,
Thanks for your great review of your stay with us.
The seafront studio apartment is incredibly popular and a favorite with many of our return guests.
The views are fantastic aren't they?
I'm glad you enjoyed some of the wonderful eateries in the Glenelg precinct; We are spoiled for choice with 50+ different restaurants and cafes to choose from just 500m from our door!
We hope to see you both again very soon,
All the best,
Rachael Osborne

We just love Seawall!! The apartments are well maintained, clean and neat. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. We have already booked ahead for our next holiday just incase we miss out!

The proximity to the beach is second to none and the BBQ and communal area makes this accommodation excellent for families.

Two thumbs up! We will be back time and time again.

Room Tip: Olive 2 was fantastic.

Seawall Apartments offers the perfect seaside holiday, and is so much better than a hotel. The buildings have so much character and are put together in such a way that offers both privacy and the opportunity for social gatherings. We stayed in 'The Landing', an upstairs apartment for two. While this apartment is not absolute beachfront, the views from the veranda were fantastic. Although the buildings are historic they are renovated in a contemporary style incorporating original features. The result is a spacious and clean living space, combined with the rickety old verandas and stairways, which remind you that you are at the sea and allow you to enjoy all it has to offer. From our apartment we were able to walk down the old wooden stairs, across the deck and out to the lawn that leads to the beach. After a day at the beach there is a tap to wash the sand, off so your apartment remains as spotless as the day you move in. Towels and other wet items could be hung on the veranda to dry, just as if you were at home. Outside our apartment there were chairs and tables for relaxing with the view, but we could also use the huge wooden tables on the deck below for alfresco dining and socialising. It really is a home away from home. Booking was simple and friendly, as was the greeting upon arrival. They offered storage for our bicycles and even lent us helmets. It is a very independent, self-catering style of accommodation but assistance was always available if needed. The location is fantastic, with the Jetty Road restaurants, hotels, and shops just a few minutes walk along the Promenade. Here, you can also take the tram into the city if more shopping is desired. The beach is fantastic - calm blue water, white soft sand, and beautiful green lawns lined by shady trees. We were there for 3 nights and could have so easily stayed. Our only regret is not staying for a full fortnight. Cannot fault this accommodation. We will be going back.

Room Tip: So many variations to choose from, ours was fantastic but they all look great. Rooms with a view of...

My bridesmaids, parents and myself stayed here the night before the wedding in the beach house, and my husband and I the night of the wedding in the Chapel. We were delighted with the service and the staff were more than helpful with allowing us to stay back a bit longer, transferring food from the fridge etc and were just lovely people on, and leading up to the day. The rooms are gorgeous and so are the surroundings. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanks for taking the time to review Seawall Apartments Michelle.
It was a delight to play a part in your special day and thank you for sharing your wedding photos with us - the black and white shots of the Bridal party clowning around inside Percy The Seawall Shark are hilarious!
I am glad we could help in a small way in the smooth running of the big day - it was our pleasure.
We look forward to seeing you again -perhaps for your anniversary?
All the very best,
Rachael & Jayne

The Seawall apartments are a wonderful place to stay; very clean, top location on the beach, reasonably priced and a practical kitchen for longer stays. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay. We stayed for 6 days over Christmas with 2 young children and all enjoyed the apartments and the location on the beach. Highly recommend.
