It was a cloudy day when toured the Blue Lake and surrounding parklands and we were only afforded small glimpses of the brilliant blue lake as the clouds rolled overhead. This is a very pretty location and is the Town’s water source. There is a driving route that takes you to the Valley Lake Lookout, onto Brownes Lake and BBQ area and then circles around to the Wildlife Park. Entry to this area is free with a donation box inside the gate. We were lucky to see some Kangaroos and an Echidna foraging around in the late afternoon. It was a pleasant relaxing afternoon and room for kids to run around in the playground.
