a work colleague and I stayed at two four two for one night on a business trip. I have stayed at this wonderful boutique apartment four years ago and it is still the same classy, comfortable, well appointed accommodation that I experienced back then. We stayed in the Bakehouse as it has two bedrooms, this is a really excellent option for business travel as the cost is significantly less than two hotel rooms, plus you get a lounge area, every possible entretainment option you could wish for, a luxurious bathroom, gorgeous comfortable beds and breakfast provisions that are generous and delicious. The Bakehouse also has a delightful courtyard complete with a bbq. I can't fault two four two it is a gem

Room Tip: if you are travelling on business and need the two beds it is worth noting the second bedroom is up...

Our 2 week holiday to Tassie included a few nights in Launceston before doing the Bay of Fires walk. We booked into Number 10. Everything that you could want for was there. Magazines, fresh coffee, a breakfast hamper of fresh apple juice, eggs, bread, cereals. The location is great, only about 5 blocks from the centre of Launceston, cafes and restaurants very close by, a supermarket a block away. We loved the space in Number 10, so much better than a cramped hotel room. On our return from BoF we booked into the Studio. Again, very well equipped and beautifully presented.

Staying at Number 10 was added to our list of Tasmanian highlights.
The attention to detail was exceptional, from exquisite linen, to apples on your pillow, fresh flowers, a jar full of fresh biscuits, games for the children, magazines...the list is endless.
Coming home to a fully equipped house (with our 3 tired children) at the end of a busy day was fantastic.
It allowed us all to sit and relax and we felt like it was our home away from home.
The location was exceptional. It enabled us to leave the car and explore Launceston by foot.
Restaurants and coffee shops are on your doorstep.
We travelled around Tasmania for 2.5 weeks by car staying in various types of accomodation.
Number 10 was the highest quality accommodation we were fortunate to stay in and we can't recommend it highly enough.
Katie was a delight to meet and a pleasure to communicate with during the booking and arrival process.
We look forward to going back again in the near future.

Our stay at twofourtwo came at the end of an exhausting but wonderful driving holiday around Tasmania. The apartment was everything we could have wished for, well appointed, ideally situated and luxurious. Could not have chosen a better place to stay to finish our holiday. Just a warning though; make sure to use the car park on offer at the apartments. We parked our car in the street only to find the bird life had partied hard directly above our car during the night. However a quick trip to the carwash and we were on our way again.

We stayed in NUMBER 10 for two nights in January. This place is simply amazing -- every detail has been considered from the magazines and DVDs for guests to enjoy; to the essentials in the kitchen like gladwrap, real coffee and bikkies; to the fresh flowers; to the umbrella and hats in the hallway.

This townhouse is very well furnished and decorated -- it feels like a home away from home. Kate the owner is really helpful and provided us with a map and some ideas about what to see locally.

The location is excellent, a minute's walk from a small cafe strip including a bookshop and green grocer, five minutes' walk to the supermarket, and about 10-15 minutes from Launceston's central shopping district.

If you want a trip away without that standard-boring-hotelroom feeling, stay here!

We stayed in the Terrace for 3 nights. The accommodation is beautifully appointed and very central. We loved being able to cook using the wonderful range of local produce close by (the green grocer, pasta shop and Farmers' market) and then eat outside -brilliant. We loved the Tasmanian produce and products throughout the Terrace including the apple juice, jams, toiletries and excellent wine and beer selection. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedroom beautifully spacious. We would definitely recommend TWOFOURTWO.

Only stayed one night but wished it could have been more. Stayed in terrace room that offered everything you could hope for and more. Stocked kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom and plenty of materials on where to eat. Would go back just for the accommodation!
