A lovely property. Great architecture that reflects the character of the area and is simply charming.
Everything was clean and well presented, and the breakfasts generous and filling. Sandra was a great hostess who made you feel more like family than a guest and was always helpful when it came to ideas or traveling routes and was always interested in what you had been done and your thoughts.
There are four car parks inside the property itself, but plenty on the streets around it.
Its about a 15 minute walk to the middle of town, and you can walk to the gorge from here if you are feeling keen. Save some strength as the return trip is up the hill, which can be a good way to burn off dinner! (if it was particularly large dinner, try the more steeper walk up Balflour street!) There are some restaurants closer by, a couple of minutes walk down the road being the closest.
The stairs to the second story might be a bit narrow if you have mobility issues, but there are rooms on the ground floor.
Highly recommended, we truly enjoyed our three nights here.
