We are both well travelled internationally and Australia wide, an easy going couple. We really enjoyed the one nights stay at this lovely property which was clean, in lovely surroundings and with nice touches with chocs and port. Walking distance into town in a quiet area. Left within the room for us was travellers feedback from the owners. I had said to my partner how sad that I couldnt give fellow travellers a 5 star rating as the mattress on our slatted base bed was so bad that I had little sleep. We wrote this in the feedback so it could be addressed by the owners and not affect their rating. Upon departure we casually joked about no Internet connection in the room and that one man was siting outside at night in the cold with the same problem. The internet wasnt an issue for us just for owners info. Half an hour after leaving we received quite a defensive email from the owners stating that the Internet was our problem and the bed had never been an issue before, both of of these issues have in fact been an issue through the booking site reviews before. We both felt the owners over reacted to simple matters that should have been dealt with via this forum. This site is for fellow travellers but also for owners to take not just the positives but also how they can improve their property, I see that as a win win situation

Garden Apartment: Private Entrance French Provincial in design with views out onto the grounds through the French Doors. Queen size bed, sitting, dining area, separate kitchenette well equipped, ensuite. All modern conveniences in all apartments. All have reverse cycle air conditioning, and everything you would expect from a four star top accommodation. Breakfast is included in all rooms, we try and use Gippsland products when in season. FREE wi/fi throughout - FREE Parking. Video surveillance in car parking area, outdoor lights on movement sensor for your safety at night. Complimentary port and chocolates in all rooms. Breakfast: is FREE and very generous. We do help you plan your time in East Gippsland plenty of things to see and do.
