This is a wonderfully maintained beach front with a range of things to see at all times of the year. Cafes, restaurants and activities longer the shore front for those of all different interests. Note, that the bollards can not have their photo taken for commercial reuse, which I found interesting, as does it mean they cannot even be posted here?

This beach front area is well maintained and is an easy place to spend the day. There are BBQs, sheltered picnic tables, a free chidrens swimming pool, bathroom facilities, plenty of green lawn, a prominard over the water, a dredged swiming and diving area that is fenced off from the open water and life gaurds at peak times. This is a very popular meeting place for locals. The "Beach House" cafe, bar and restaruant operates all year round.

We went to this beach and were happily surprised by the big Free pool right by this beach. We made good use of it, and would recommend it if your travelling with kids.

Not so big beach and not really for swimming. Good for photos and walks but not good for swimming. Still nice to put toes in the sand on a warm night.

the scenic walk looking at the bollards should be part of your fitness plan after your meal at one of the forshore eating houses
