The family room suited us perfectly as we were travelling with a baby and so could put the baby to bed in one room while watching movies (the motel has a free movie channel) and having dinner in the other.

Motel had a decent size fridge, microwave, tea & coffee facilities in the room.

Price was very reasonable - we paid $135 for the family room (2 double beds & 2 single beds - 2 separate rooms).

Friendly, helpful proprietor.

I stayed at lenwin on the lake for 7 days it was a great place the hospitality from the hosts was amazing always a smile and a freindly hello, it was finacually affordable, roomy, clean and well presented. You can tell they take pride in there work and the satisfaction of there guests.
I also tried the food that they offer on there dinner menu and it was fairly priced, sizing was generouse and just the taste was resturant quality i enjoyed every mouth full.
I would recommend it to anyone heading down that way and needing a place to say.

I've stayed at the Lenwin about 3 times in the last month for business in the area. I actually choose the hotel because my boss said the motel had to be under $100 a night (not easy in Hamilton). The double room is spacious, clean and comfortable and includes a microwave, a proper fridge and toaster as well as the usual tea and coffee making facilities. It's in a quiet area and close to the beautiful Lake Hamilton but still walking distance to CBD.
I'll definitely be staying there again for stopovers on holiday as well as for business.

Always our first choice always when in Hamilton. It's location is perfect, close to the CBD, but back far enough to be really quiet - no road noise at all. While the rooms are old, they are tastefully decorated and always clean. The beds are comfortable and the service is five star. We were travelling for over 6 hrs. for a funeral and they were very accommodating organising an early check in so we could freshen up and get changed prior to the funeral and their recommendation for dinner was spot on. We will be back again next time we need to stay in Hamilton.

After trying to get a room in Ararat unsuccessfully we arrived tired in hamilton at 12.30am. Asked at the quickstop servo would an all night motel be available I was told try the Lenwin. A sleepy manager was happy to get out of bed and accommodate us. I ususally stay 4-5 star but was delighted to find a large, clean basic room with a comfy bed and had a great night's sleep. Friendly staff in the morning. Great work everyone!!!

I picked the hotel for its location as it was off the highway. It was so quiet! The room was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, a French fri in the bottom of the fridge had attracted ants. The TV was in the perfect location to watch from bed and it was a very comfortable night's sleep. Overall, well worth it! Especially considering the price.

Clean motel with with comfy bed. The manager was lovely and came promptly to reception. Helped with all requests. Short drive into town and straight over the road is Lake Hamilton where there is an actively patronised 5k walking track which was great to use after a day driving. Rooms are small but definitely clean and comfortable
