We stayed in this park for one night in march and had a spot right on the river bank. I found the ladies showers and toilets satisfactory but my husband was not impressed with male toilets. They are doing renovations there so I'm sure they will be improved soon. A short drive into town and a lovely park close by., there is also a cafe on site where you can have breakfast. The pool is good and very clean. We sat outside our van and watched a paddle steamer go by on the river with a wedding party on board.this is the most expensive park we stayed in on our month in S.A. And Vic but worth it. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a grassy site near the river

This park backs onto the river and is right next door to the Pioneer Village and their Paddle Steamer goes past the park. The caravan site we had was large and roomy and right next door to the amenities which had just been renovated. The amenities were outstandingl. The ladies even had one of those sexy hand dryers which dry really quickly. The Gents were only half done but are scheduled to be done by Easter. There is a licensed restaurant in the park office which served great food and drink. Would recommend to everyone.

We travelled to Swan Hill for a family weekend away, our group were aged between 9 years and 65 years. On arrival, staff were very welcoming and friendly, even offering to 'send one of the boys around to reverse the caravan in' (luckily I'm capable of reversing on my own). We had a couple of ensuite sites and were accommodated next to each other, as requested at time of booking. The décor in the ensuite was dated, but it was large and clean - the showers were great! The sites we had were wide enough to park our van and have an annex up, cars were parked in front of the vans. Some of the grass was very patchy with large area's without grass, but looking at other powered sites in the park - the grass was thick and lush. There were some ants around, but a quick spray took care of that. The activities for the kids were great, with plenty to keep them entertained. The park was a little out of town, but the facilities made up for this.

Room Tip: The ensuite sites closer to the kids activities had better grass coverage.

Great location and friendly staff. The powered sites were flat and shady and located close to the amenities which were modern and clean. Great water park and pool, our children spent many hours playing there. We sadly missed the free pancake breakfast on the morning we left but there was a very long lineup for them. Would love to visit again..

We stayed at the Big 4 Swan Hill for the Australia Day long weekend. We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe cabin, which was as described on the website, in our opinion the cabin had all the mod cons required for a great weekend away, thankfully aircon was one of those mod cons. The facilities at this park are fantastic, we travelled with our 10 year old, who at first was a bit unsure if this park was for him, but after an hour he was right into it. There are lots of families at this resort and I can see why, this resort really caters for the kids, they love it, we hardly saw our son for the 3 days were were there. I agree with other reviews though that the pool is way too small for the size of the park. I would definately recommed this resort, although I would try out the Riverside Big 4 next time, location was amazing.

Pity this was only an overnight stay for us. Even though it's not located centrally, it's surrounded by open fields. The water park was a real hit along with the pool. When we arrived it had been in the 40's for a few days so the pool water was getting a little cloudy because of the sun screen, but still clean enough to enjoy. Th jumping pillow has a great shade over it making it ideal for the warmer days. The playground was located on the other side of the grounds, but due to the hot weather we never got to use. We had an ensuite site which was roomy. The actual ensuite was fantastic, with a toilet big shower , sink and also a laundry troff for washing clothes.
We didn't use the camp kitchen or bathrooms so I can't comment about them.
The reception ladies were lovely and upon leaving we were thanked with a small packet of lollies. I'll defiantly recommend this clean and quiet park. I'll be back.
