Despite booking over 3 months in advance little or no effort was made to locate our group of 20+ in close proximity. (unlike Big4 Boulder last year).
Our chalet was compact but clean and bed was comfy. Very sparsely equipped. The table on the verandah only had three legs and the bar stools were unsuitable for persons of our vintage.
The pool and camp kitchen/games room were very good but only two sun lounges at the pool and were mostly occupied.
The shade trees about the site were either dead or in very poor health giving a ghostly effect.
Access to the beach was very poor for anybody with any difficulty walking. Don't waste your funds on a viewing platform and provide steps onto the beach!
On our first night our neighbours had their Esky stolen. Three nights later one of our friends had there cottage burgled and two old ladies had their handbags and phones taken which was very distressing.More
