This small hotel is in a nicely renovated old Frisian barn out in the countryside. Room was spacious and furnished in a modern (but not starkly so) style. Stairs to the upper floor, though, are typically Dutch (=steep; watch out). Food was excellent - both at breakfast and dinner. We found this location to be ideal for exploring the Frisian countryside. The owner was very helpful with suggestions and directions.
