A day out with Shaun is the perfect way to get off the beaten track and feel the pulse of this area. The day is a perfect mixture of sightseeing and activity. Canoeing along the Margaret River enjoying the peace of the river is really special. Listening to Shaun talk with real knowledge and passion about the history of the area is fascinating. His "secret winery lunch experience" in a top winery that only he can access and use is unforgettable. Walking along the cliff top with the stunning views was breathtaking. I am not a big adventurer nor an outdoorsy type, but today was such a treat.
Sean took us to canoe a short way down the Margaret River, followed by coffee over the indian ocean, driving along in a very comfortable 4WD. On to an indegionous water hole and to lunch at an otherwise inaccessible winery and served great local produce. The day was capped off with a walk along the cliffs within the Leewin Naturaliste National Park.
Sean was respectful and passionate about the Margaret River Region and informed the group of six of interesting facts around wine, the local area and the history.

Believe the hype, this is a truly fantastic tour. Sean is a great host, very knowledgeable, interesting, and funny. We did a pleasant canoe along the river, sampled some great wine, had a very tasty lunch, did a beautiful trek along the cliffs and much more. I highly recommend this tour, you won't be disappointed.
We had a brilliant day touring Margaret River last weekend with friends. Fresh air, sunshine, relaxing canoe on the river, amazing scenery, tasting some of the best wine and food the region has to offer and lots of laughs.
I have been travelling to Margaret River on holiday for years but Sean's carefully planned, tours provided a unique insight into Margaret River which we would never have experienced without his knowledge and passion for the region.

In November 2011 we joined Sean Blocksidge on his “Best of the Best Wine Tour” in Margaret River. This involved visits and tastings to three of the region’s best wineries including, Fraser Gallop Estate, Voyageur Estate and Cape Mentelle. The latter included a unique wine/food pairing lunch (degustation style) and a special behind the scenes vineyard experience.
Following the winery experience we enjoyed the beauty of the Margaret River on a guided sunset canoeing tour and unique local honey tasting.
