If you want to see more of the Margaret River region than the numerous (and excellent) wineries then can highly recommend the Discovery Tour. Sean's tour covers many different aspects of the region and you can't really get up any closer with the different natural aspects of the region than where his tour takes you.
The highlight was the canoeing on the river itself where we had a flat calm day and clear blue skies but the trek along a small part of the Cape to Cape trail was also pretty good as you get great views of the spectacular coastline.
However the real bonus is that Sean provides a narrative throughout the day on the history of the region, why wine has proved to be a success where other crops failed, what to look for when deciding where to plant vines and whole raft of other interesting facts - you come away at the end of the day with a much better appreciation of this particular corner of WA that you probably wouldn't get from doing any other tour.

Sean delivers what every tour should strive to achieve. It was without doubt the best bang-for-your-buck tour I have ever done!! The value of the experience far outweighing the cost. We can't wait to come back and do the 'Discovery Tour'.

You have to do this tour if you visit Margaret River! A family member recommended it and we were a bit unsure if it was for us. However it turned out to be the best day we had while in Margaret River. Sean is a great host, quite laid back and very knowledgeable. Canoeing on the Margaret River was certainly a highlight as was the scenery on the Cape to Cape track. The winery we visited was fantastic and we enjoyed a lovely lunch there as well as tasting some outstanding wines. We would highly recommend this tour to people of all ages but book it well in advance if you can so you don't miss out.
