This is an absolutely superb tour of thr Margaret River region- it takes in a bit of everything; nature, wine & food. Sean is friendly and obviously has a great time with his job which is what sets this apart from everything else- he treats you like a friend and shows you around the region giving you little titbits of information. We went on this tour on our last day in Margaret River but if you're staying for a week or so I'd advise doing this first because Sean can probably give you a whole list of tips of things to see and do. Three thumbs up!

This is a great tour to see the Margaret River region. We started the morning canoeing, what a fantastic start to the day! You can set your own pace and don't need a high level of fitness. The behind the scenes tour of Fraser Gallop winery is a highlight. Our lunch was served under a large peppercorn tree over looking the vines. A gentle 4WD and hike concludes the day taking in some spectacular scenery. Sean is a fabulous guide who is both passionate and knowledgeable about the region. Highly recommend this tour!

I actually went on this tour in December 2010 and have been meaning to write this review ever since (sorry Sean!)
We really enjoyed the food and wine pairing session and learnt lots. As it was an unexpectedly sunny day, Sean also took us canoeing on the spur of the moment down Margaret river which was lots of fun and not as energetic as it sounds. We bonded so well as a group that we all had drinks at a couple's honeymoon suite afterwards enjoying the wine that we had just bought. I would thoroughly recommend investing in this trip as opposed to one of the larger expeditions. Even though we were backpacking, we found the 'best of the best' wine tour to be a solid investment and are still talking about it, almost 3 years later.

This is the second time my wife and I went out for the day with Sean and it won't be the last.
It's a small intimate group, we only had 2 others with us. The day included some canoeing, walking, 4WD, wine tasting, honey tasting and lunch! Also some good commentary on the local flora and fauna.

Im certain we went to some of the most beautiful sites in WA, places that most locals wouldn't even know about.

Over all, a great day out if you don't want another "tour"....

Congratulations Sean for designing a tour to highlight the things that makes your beloved Margaret River region such a special part of the world. The wine, the food & the beautiful scenery and your infectious enthusiasm for the region make for a winning blend. We visited some great wineries, some of them not open to the general public, did a grape to glass wine tour at the impressive Cape Mentelle winery, followed by a very interesting food & wine matching experience and packed in some 4-Wheel driving to the stunning coast line. You could not ask for more combining these ingredients and lots of laughter along the way, as well as some insightful commentary made for a wonderful day out. A great tour and I can speak with some authority since I own a successful wine touring business in the Hunter Valley. A fact I did not reveal to Sean until the tour was finished. Thank you for a great day out.
