We had the most amazing day with Sean on the MR Discovery Tour. Myself and my husband were lucky enough to be the only two on the trip so we had Sean and all his expertise and knowledge to ourselves.

The pace, the sights, the insider knowledge and access - all made this the best day of our holiday. I can't recommend the tour highly enough.

Like so many others have mentioned before, we are the kind of couple that never normally like booking tours. But the great reviews on Trip Advisor and elsewhere persuaded us to go against the grain. We are so glad we did.

Spending the day with Sean was like spending it with an old friend. We felt prividged to see and do what we did, and left feeling like we had really got under the skin of the area in a really short time.

As a hotelier, I normally only get to read and analyze reviews for my resort on Trip Advisor. This is the first time I feel compelled to write a review myself.

When visiting Margaret River there are a lot of tour companies that are trying to get you to join their wine tasting tours. However the difference is that Sean really shows you the essence and beauty of the area, which is a bit more than wine only. Attention to details, visiting unique places in the area off the beaten track, quality over quantity, great stories, and fun are the things that come up in my mind when I think back about the day my wife and I spent together with Sean and some other guests from Singapore.

In my professional career I get to meet a lot of people and I spend the whole day entertaining guests. Usually I wouldn't want to join group excursions / tours in my private time just to be able to get some "my wife and me" time, however I am glad that a friend convinced us to join Sean on the trip.

It is probably not appropriate to give all the details of the tour here, as it will take away some of the magic moments for future guests. But be assured that you have a fantastic day and that you will see parts of the Margaret River area you would never be able to discover yourself. As a hotelier I could only wish for this kind of quality of tours in the area where I work.

Our tour guide, Sean Blocksidge, clearly knows Margaret River. Not only that but he knows how to show visitors a good time! We did the discovery tour and, as a frequent visitor down south, I saw and learnt things I had never seen or heard before. The tours are designed to take max 6 guests so it is very personalised and the lunch is YUM!!!
